I didn't realize cricket protein had gone to market! I'm weird that I like to try new stuff and experiment. I like the idea of a more sustainable protein sources that is complete, but I have to admit, eating cricket gives me a little ick. Funny, considering I love raw oysters, lol. Just curious if anyone else has tried it out. There is a brand available on Amazon that has good reviews.

I'd try it. Used to watch shows about weird foods, and between the insects crickets would be the most likely thing I'd try (vs spiders, and chit). They seem like they'd be crunchy, and small enough to not be an innards explosion, so if I'm pretty sure I could try them whole, I'd definitely try them as a powder.

I didn't know such a thing exists.. but that's actually a very interesting idea. Wonder why it's not more popular! Are there other sources besides cricket? I might try it and let you know. I don't mind trying "gross" food (as long as they're not roaches).

There's a company called Crik Nutrition that has a powder, available on Amazon. Although on further inspection, it is 25% cricket and also contains a blend of other vegetarian protein sources. Maybe 100% cricket would be too...crickety? Anyways, not sure I'll try it but I'm intrigued.

There is an episode on the 'Startup' podcast, I believe season 3, that talked to a woman essentially starting this market. Very intriguing. Cricket chips...brownies...
I'm not a fan of protein powders but I'd try the other high protein bug varietals.Coming out of "retirement"...Meg is training for a Figure competition...again!!!
