According PPNN (Price Plow News Network), Quest laid off workers and now will only be sold at W-Mart. Guess they weren't doing as well as I/we thought.
Note: If am mistaken I apologize

Saw this yesterday. They are laying off 524 employees and closing 479k in square footage.

Where did you read that? It's not on their site from what I can see. Walmart could have bought exclusivity with them as well which wouldn't mean they are having financial issues.
Edit: thanks burntYour nutrition and workout program determines your success.

From the ******** convos linked to the PP story, they are supposedly moving to having their product produced by co-manufacturers as well as moving their headquarters to the east coast and this move has been planned for a couple of years.

But apparently they are the most widly known and best selling bars. Now exclusivly at Walmart......lol.
That is unfortunate for those employeed losing jobs. Perhaps a better approach and not putting a high price point on quest protein powder would have been a better approach. But it also shows Quest is losing popularity with all these other bars coming out.Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

Back in my day, Quest gave me a box of bars a month as comp for repping.
They actually were the tastiest protein bars on the market for the macros at the time, and microwaving really did help.
I still think the Apple Pie bars are hard to beat warmed up; haven't tried them since the corn fiber debacle though.NOV || Ohio Chapter || Be more, have less.

Just seeing this. Slow down folks!!
We shared this ******** conversation, which had a lot of heavy-hitters inside of it: https://www.********.com/PricePlow/p...55684645254137
Make sure everyone knows that they're not dead - they still make a crapton of money. Just need to pare back after years of insane hypergrowth. No way you can keep growing and stay that on top that long.
So they'll be smaller but NOT at all RIPFounder of PricePlow - Bodybuilding.com Affiliate
