A question mainly for older miscers
I'm not talking about looks, I'm talking about physical performance.
At what age did you start to feel like your physical peak was behind you? As in you weren't recovering as fast, more aches and pains, you couldn't train for as long each workout, strength gains came much harder etc etc
srs question. pls respect srs tag

Currently 31. Look and feel better than I have since my teens. Serious. And it wasn't like I lived an unhealthy lifestyle. Men aren't supposed to peak until their 40's. It's amazing how settling for some average/10, living a depressing average debt slave life stressed 24/7, working a sh!tty unfulfilling job, eating garbage, never lifting or moving, can absolutely wreck guys. I look at other guys my age and they're just a phucking mess. I can easily still pull girls in their teens and early 20's. Don't phucking give up and you won't start declining.

I'm 51. Am I physically declining? Probably. In some of my lifts, I'm as strong or stronger than ever. Others, I don't do heavy anymore. Like squats and deads.
The thing about getting older is that you don't have the same energy and you don't heal as quickly. This means you have to be more careful in the gym.Jesus is my lifting partner.

Why is this a question that you're even worried about at 24? You've got at least a decade yet. Seems most people here have at least maintained strength if not improved even over 40. I've heard from 35 your test starts dropping though.

Honestly I don't, I'll be 35 in less than 2 months.
Lifts keep going up, I easily maintain 185 Lbs. (5'8"), 10-12% BF, no trouble putting on weight, dick just as hard as it's ever been.
DOMS seems to last longer but that's really only on parts I haven't worked out in a while, when I work out consistently I hardly even get it.
No aches and pains either. The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

Early 30s (33 now) Don't feel quite as agile or quick (slightly) and recovery the day after heavy exertion is affected.
For lifting only I don't think you'd nice for quite a while, for stuff like tennis you do notice. I've been careful and have no nagging injuries or health issues though. If you can't handle me when I'm incel, you don't deserve me when I'm chad

34 turning 35 in December and feel better than I did when I was in my 20s. I play soccer at least twice a week and still in better shape than the guys in their mid to young 20s. As long as you take care of your self OPIE, you have a long way to go...despite what the misc thinks, ur life doesn't end at 30

With boxing I could feel it in my late 20s, around 28. While nothing big, I could notice a small drop in my speed, reflexes, agility, and overall energy. One of the reasons why I stopped boxing as a hobby, as the last thing I wanted was to start getting beaten up by 19 year-old Mexican kids when I'm 30+ years of age. That and I had gotten bored of it by that point.
Honestly, it's pretty easy to not feel a decline for a long time if all you do is lift and/or were out of shape when you were younger. Speed and reflexes go downhill much earlier than strength, which can up all throughout your 30s.

I felt a definite difference at around 30.
I'm a fan of tennis, and if you follow pro tennis, it is pretty common that male players hit their peak shape in the 22-28ish range (disregarding the anomaly of what Federer is doing now at 36, which can partly be explained by lack-luster competition).
Or looking at track stars, you see many hitting their records in their early to mid 20s. Usain Bolt hit many of his records at around 23-24Last edited by numberguy12; 09-05-2017 at 05:08 PM.
