Most of the big dog squats I saw looked good, hard to tell but nothing egregiously high that I saw.
I second the notion that O'Doyle rules, it's insane how little recognition he gets for how great of a lifter he is.
Had Eric made a couple extra lifts he would've changed the whole podium.
Very excited for BD3 next year already. In my eyes that is the future of powerlifting. Markos really has some great stuff going on down there, between the ProRaw meets and Big Dogs.

Did the live stream of big dogs get saved to be watched later? I'm working my way through the USAPL Raw nationals. Friday nights primetime was awesome.

Really good, best I've ever seen. He really impressed me with his lifting, his deadlift is ****ing retard mode, no idea how he pulls how he does, but he damn near pulled 900.

I'd say Eric delivered this weekend. He was close to winning the whole thing. IMO best meet he's done considering location, total, and insane depth of competition. And his squats looked rock solid to me also.
I'm hype for J-mo, really hope he goes.
Always a big invite list, but a small showing. But this year ended up with 8 great guys so it wasn't just 2-3.
Also really hoping for a few of the WSM guys to go. Hafthor looks ready to total like 2300-2400 now lmao. Him,Z and Eddie would be great.YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/NorthStrongSC

Have seen petr petras lift in a competition guy is huge. Regarding wsm in pl I know graham hicks is doing the uk savage apparel pro and Loz is doing gpc finals again and has said he will go full powerlifting when he feels he can't be competitive at wsm.

Luckily there's some money up for grabs so people seem to actually go to these. Even if you get 8-10 or so that's still great depth of lifting imo. Far more exciting than 2-3.
Yeah, and missed 2nd DL on grip, then fufcking held on to it on his third.

Looking for knee wrap suggestions. I want something as similar to iron rebel outlaws as possible. I have outlaws now, they are just getting old. I have a meet coming up and they are sold out of outlaws until November otherwise I'd just buy more of them.

What is your guys opinion on stretching before lifting? I actually forgot to ask this and it just came to me. When I went to see dan green at one of his seminars, he had said that he always stretches before he lifts. He stated that it's not as dangerous as everyone thinks because you're not stretching and then immediately getting under the bar. Thoughts?

I always stretch before I lift. I went to a Gaglione seminar and he said brought up a study showing it has no impact on strength if done properly. Basically it came down to, as long as you don't go from stretching to immediately getting under the bar, you're fine. Strength will be lower if you try to lift within a few seconds of stretching, but other than that you should be good to go. Sounds exactly like what Dan Green is saying.
