How many credit cards do you have open

I know 99% of misc pays full cash for everything. Cars, homes, etc but for you brahs who charge things and use credit cards how many do you have? I have 6 but only use one, anyone know if having a certain amount of active accounts increases/decreases

I try to only use one at a time, but maybe charge something small to keep activity going on the others.

I rotate them in my wallet every month. The main stays in the front slot, my debit behind it, and then the others follow suit.

If you travel then Amex Platinum is a great card. The benefits are amazing and far exceed the annual fee if you actually use them.

A perfect credit score is 850 and only elite people have this yet many average miscers here have 800+. LOL ooooookaaaaaaay.

As long as you have a 720 or above you are considered to have excellent credit according to FICO.

Keep your CC utilization under 20% per card and your DTI ratio as low as possible.

Even if you never plan to use a CC keep the account open.

This is pretty much me as well. Fewer cards but my monthly activity is a very small percentage of my overall credit line which is great. 800+ credit score as well.

No idea what my credit rating is but pretty good I imagine and never been refused any type of finance (but only have mortgage ATM with 89% equity)

98% of my purchases have been on credit cards for at least 5 years. Why use a debit card or cash when you can points?

If you travel a lot the sapphire reserve is good but the fee is higher.

You can be flagged as a churner and be black listed.

Most tricks like this, the few who discovered it on the DL benefit from it. By the time its public knowledge and anyone can google how to do it, it's probably not worth it. I'm sure most cc companies have caught up and have fine print to cover this.
