If you are, is it easy to maintain? Are you making gainz? Gonna be a med student soon, afraid i might lose all my gainz but sure can make time for it and people might just be overexgerating that they have no time for gym.

paramed here, as long as you get your macros in it's all good. especially during finals, gotta plan everything before (gym, food, studying, sleeping) and you'll be fine.

My main experience is with bio/neuroscience undergrad, but most busy medical professionals are noodles because they don't really have the desire or drive to be muscular, not because they don't have enough time. Being muscular doesn't really require more time than being average; it's about choosing high-protein meals over the standard fare and actually providing the growth stimulus to your muscles, which only takes like 3 hours a week (4 x 45 mins is plenty). The real issue for me if I were in your position might be that lifting saps some of my mental energy, but even that can be combated by a good diet. Maintain quality nutrition e.g. with daily omega-3's and daily cruciferous vegetables and you may actually have a mental edge on your less healthy counterparts.

I actually enjoy lifting alot, it's a de stressor for me so that's a plus. Also, there is alot of oven cooked foods like lasagna, potatoes and chicken where you just put it in the overn and it's ready 30 min after. Also two min rice in microwave. I think i can do it, i habe the drive. Only prob with pre packaged food is price and chemicals and stuff. I'm not looking to be a professional so it should be fine haha.

Yup and of course it's easy to maintain as my Lamborghini and 20,000 square foot mansion in the Hamptons.
The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.
That's why grandma's apple pie rocks and yours sucks.

What's special about med school vs any other studies regarding working out? Does med school take more time or something or what?
Maybe it's just my study that barely requires any time, I spend less than 10h a week on it. I don't understand how anyone can't have time for hobbies/working out while studying.The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.

there will be times when u'll say **** lifting.
But aslong as ull maintain during the year, U can put some progress on summer.
I personally just try to lift as much as I can and pretty much disregard eating habits. The outcome is somewhat decent.
Good luck!.::LITHUANIA crew::.
