You should do a training and diet journal on here. That would be interesting for all of us. I mean if you really wanted to post. A few updates would be fine, though.

Peter, it's Tony from Flex. It's pretty laid back here like it is over at Flex. Glad you stopped by and it's good to have you here. You going to be in Venice for the renaming of Dave's store in late April? Should be a good time.
That pro card is coming bro, keep busting your ass, it's only a matter of time.

Hey Tony. I doubt I will be there. I would love to be there though. Jessica will be out for a few shoots with Weider next week. I was going to go but someone has to stay and hang out with our dogs! LOL Besides, I need to stay put and take care of business in the gym. 20 weeks isn't long now! Thanks for being so positive and let's trust you are right!

No offense taken bro. I won the NPC Collegiate Nationals in 2004 and was the runner up in the light heavies at the USA's this past July. I will be competing there again this July with the hopes of taking a card this year Lord willing.
My website, www.peterputnam.com, is being revamped and will be up and running soon enough. Go to www.myspace.com/pumpputnam if you would like to view some more pics with a bit more information. I am also married to IFBB Figure Pro, Jessica Paxson-Putnam.
I know I have been popping up in some mags in UK... keep an eye out for an article in the Flex UK with Flex Lewis and I training arms together.

Thanks bro! I dieted for 12 weeks last year for the USA's but I stayed really strict all year leading up to my official prep. I hovered around 215 lbs last year. I wanted to stay in shape to come in shredded for the USA's. This off season the goal has been to be a bit heavier but yet remain in good shape. I'm currently at 225 lbs. This is the leanest I have been at this weight. I am very happy with how things are progressing at this point. I can't say exactly when I will begin my prep but I may start a bit further out since I will be dropping a little extra; however, I believe I have put on quality weight so I will be closely observing my condition from this point out.

I know you are a Christian. I find I connect with you just cause of that. I also know that Flex Lewis and Mark Dugdale are too. I think it is great how you guys rep Christ.
So are you good friends with Flex Lewis and Mark?

This sport is temporal so you got to keep things in perspective. Yes, we are friends. Mark is a class act and funny too! Flex is like my brother. We'll be hanging out together this week end. Flex and I are doing an appearance this Friday at a supplement store and giving a seminar Sat.

actually I've talked to mark dugdale about you a few times. The sport needs more good, humble people like you who are strong christians. Many people think the sport contains a bunch of selfish knuckleheads.
you have a great physique. I hope you continue to be a strong Christian and reach out to the fans. Mark is a great model of how an ifbb pro should be.
good luck and God bless man.

My back was neglected from the beginning as my back ground was in football and track & field. So my legs were naturally ahead of everything else. So it's not like I genetically don't have a back... I just have to focus more and put in the time, playing catch up! LOL
Thanks bro and let's hope so on that card!
