Dropping weight slowly to maintain strength

Has anybody had success with this? Need to drop roughly 22lbs (170-148lbs) over the course of probably 4-5 months and trying to maintain my strength that I have now. Any help would be appreciated.

Planning on running Jonnie candito 6 week program after I finish one cycle of the 5/3/1 (on 3+ now)
Advice on programming and nutrition would be great. Thanks

    Current lifts are:
    B: 265
    S: 432
    D: 520

If I can cut Strength loss to around 2% per lift that would be ideal

do it in phases would be my advice

i went from 172 to 159 and maintained numbers (which meant i gained RELATIVE strength)

but yeah mayeb do it in 7-11lb phases, have a 4 week break in between, and then do the remainder.
    comp best - 358/237/375 (162.5/107.5/170) - BDFPA 75kg (165lb) class
    gym best - 398/265/440 (180/120/200) - @ 78kg
