I think no immigration at all would be ideal, at least for now. Generally speaking, the more homogeneous a nation is, the better it represents the interests of its people, and the less division there is. So what? I was responding to Hogan's claim that whites were the only race he knew of that were subject to systemic racism. I simply pointed out that that is difficult to believe that when whites control all the major "systems" in our country. I never claimed all whites were rich or powerful or anything, just that they're not discriminated against.

I in fact don't think that for a hard working, intelligent individual, race is much of a barrier at all. In fact, being non-white can even be somewhat of an advantage in certain circumstances. But being white certainly isn't a hindrance in this country as many on this forum love to claim.

Being a white male today is not like being a person of color decades ago. There is no doubt about that, and anyone who says so has no real argument to make. Its like even black people who try to somehow equate some of the things they go thru today to things that happened decades ago. Sorry, we are all so coddled in this great country that we sometimes forget what real chit feels like.

But to me, bad is bad. If something isn't right, it isn't right. I don't care about race or sex. And that's where I see where white males are coming from.
