“He just says, ‘Well, I’m going to negotiate a better deal.’ Well, how — what — how exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have? And usually, the answer is he doesn’t have an answer.” ~ Barack Obama 06/01/16

A million jobs in six months is great but it barely covers the increase in population, let alone increasing the participation rate. There were 2 million jobs created last year so we should be seeing more than that if we're to stay on on the same trajectory.
Still, what was Trump's role here? His agenda is supposed to be focused on the manufacturing and energy sectors, where employment numbers are flat, and not on hospitality and health care, where numbers are rising.E Pluribus Unum

Well to start, in the first 5 months, Obummer created $3 Billion in new regulations. In Trump's first 5 months, he wiped away $22 billion in regulations.
And now, things like this keep happening over and over.
Obama was a job killer and took pride in putting people out of work and on welfare. Four more years of job killing and this country would have been in trouble. So you can thank us for saving it.Last edited by gixxer0.6g; 08-07-2017 at 02:41 PM.

Do you see this chart?
Obama's first 9 months in office he was working under Bush and the Republicans last budget which ended on Sept.30/2009.Do you see the millions of job loss'?Do you see the 15 million+ jobs created after Obama submitted his first budget?Did they teach you how to read charts at the trailer park school?
Jobs have been created for a record 80+ months under Obama!
America has recorded a record 98+ months of economic growth under Obama!
(Tempe, Arizona) — Economic activity in the manufacturing sector expanded in July, and the overall economy grew for the 98th consecutive month, say the nation's supply executives in the latest Manufacturing ISM® Report On Business®.

08-07-2017, 06:25 PM #18The Congress has directed the Fed to conduct the nation's monetary policy to support three specific goals: maximum sustainable employment, stable prices, and moderate long-term interest rates. These goals are sometimes referred to as the Fed's "mandate."
Maximum sustainable employment is the highest level of employment that the economy can sustain while maintaining a stable inflation rate.

So, we're basically on pace to create around the same number of jobs this year as we did last year? Um, cool story brah? Can someone let everyone know when Trump actually accomplishes something that he didn't inherit? Like signing a meaningful piece of legislation?
You have almost twice the number of posts he does...
March 2017:
US employers added 98,000 nonfarm payrolls in March, far fewer than forecast, according to a report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics released Friday.
Economists had expected the US economy to add 180,000 jobs, according to Bloomberg.

May 2017
The pace of job creation in the US slowed by more than expected in May, and less participation in the labor market helped to push the unemployment rate to a 16-year low.
The economy added 138,000 nonfarm payrolls, while the unemployment rate fell to 4.3%, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said Friday in its monthly report.
Economists had forecast 182,000 nonfarm payrolls and a 4.4% unemployment rate, according to a Bloomberg survey.

Obama is lucky that Wal-Mart exploded under his watch and they decided to open an incredible amount of stores. Seriously, Wal-Mart is now the largest employer in 20 states. That was the biggest problem with the "Obama economy." So many people had jobs they didn't want, didn't make much money or were temporary (like building roads).

I'd hope Obama would of created some jobs considering the mark he left on our national debt. That repayment from the payout he sent his big bank buddies is something your grandchildren are going to feel the pain of. I hope you Obama people are happy putting your distant offspring in chains before they are even born.
The minute he leaves office consumer and market confidence explodes and the stock market takes off.
What Obama did was the equivalent of taking out a million dollar loan then showing off wealth for a few weeks. There is no accomplishment here but what does Obama care? Lawyer boy looked good during those 8 years, he doesn't have to worry about repayment years down the line.

Walmart is closing hundreds of stores and laying off thousands of employees
Jan. 15, 2016, 9:09 AM
Walmart is closing 269 stores and laying off thousands of employees.
The move will affect more than 16,000 employees, including 10,000 in the US.
The closings include 154 locations in the US — 102 of which are the company's smallest stores, called Walmart Express, which have been in pilot since 2011.
