I don't pretend to know if American Christians as a whole are less tolerant than American Muslims as a whole, but about 70% of the population identify as Christian and 0.9% as Muslim. It isn't surprising you will find more individual cases of Christian intolerance. Especially considering some of these cases you are posting date back to the 70's.
