Even if Maya got him down, wtf is he going to do, GNP? Unlikely. Submission? Probably needs an entire round to set it up. Cancel this fight already.

once that first shot by maia didn't work it basically told me the fight was going to be this.
woodley is not going to over-expose himself and give maia a chance at a clean takedown so i wanted to see hwat might happen once the first takedown and see if maia had strength to get tyron down. he didn't.
just a meh c-level kickboxing contest, but expected. it's no one's fault. maia is an outstanding contender. woodley fights with a lot of respect to his opponents. i honestly wouldn't be surprised if maia has won some rounds based off of aggression and moving forward.

Good God this is bad

Watching Maya attempt takedowns on Woodley is like the Birdman attempting dunks at the Dunk Contest.

Maia just doesnt have any striking arsenal or clinch work to get guys down, he just shoots double and singles over and over and over... If he would throw kicks he might be winning this fight, because woodley isnt doing chit. If Maia would clinch and possibly get a chance to clasp his hands on a body lock takedown maybe he could lever woodley down...but he just doesnt have the tools in his toolbox to get this done.
Sadly we seem to be stuck with Woodleys arrogant boring ass for a while longer. For every man, there is a sentence, a string of words, that has the power to destroy him

So much for Tyron bucking his usual style, like he did some vs. Lawler. He's rarely bothered to pressure in this fight and get after things.
His fighting style is all built around not gassing.Deathstroke and I list our most hilariously awful WCW moments (lots of gifs & vids; expect load time):
