Healthcare needs to be fixed. Not repealed or replaced. Obamacare is just a part of a much larger problem.
I've thought about it and have had discussions with all sorts of people, including people in healthcare. The conclusion that I've come to is that we need to do one of the following:
1. Get the government completely out of healthcare. The constant interference in healthcare has caused the market to go haywire. In 1967 we spent around $44 billion on healthcare. All of us. We as a country spent that. This year we're going to spend over $3.5 trillion. That's an insane increase and it is solely because of government interference in the marketplace.
2. Have the government fully control the healthcare market.
Both answers have positives and negatives.
With option 1 of course some people are going to be left out. Perhaps charity would be able to take care of the problem but I doubt that charity is going to be accepting of idiots coming into their facility for no good reason.
And option 2 is going to lead to the same issues that other countries with universal healthcare have. Less care, lesser quality care, wait times, and so on.
Either way our situation will be better than what we have now. The average guy is getting completely boned with our current healthcare system.

Capitalist republicans don't really want to repeal a capitalist republican healthcare plan, you say? I'm shocked. Utterly, shocked.
Anyone with half a brain knew at most they'd keep the bad parts of the bill and get rid of the (few) good parts. It's ObamoRomneycare, or Medicare. Those are your choices.

They need to repeal and not replace. The problem is government, you can't solve that with more govt.

Good, they should put health care aside and focus on other issues. Obamacare is a huge issue but they are just shifting blame and anger to themselves here, if it's going to fail, let it fail and then get back to the drawing board. Sure they will still catch heat, but not as much.
House Republicans are straight garbage but I still much prefer those buffoons to the batchit insane Democrats, so I'm pulling for them and hoping they shift their focus to tax reform, the economy and national security instead.*Sit there and don't know what to do when people sing happy birthday to me crew*

The problem is bad government. You solve that with good government.
Mr.Burns is bad government. Good government is the poor bastard working at 7/11 or a Steel Mill all their life. Stop electing Mister Burns and start electing normal human beings and things would start to get a lot better in a goddamn hurry, mister AnCap.

It's easy to call plays from the sideline, not as easy when you are the coach and there are actual consequences for your calls.
Of course it is hard for Republicans or Democrats to come up with a quality answer to the healthcare problems in America since so many of them get their pockets lined by lobbyists. They can't be biting the hand that gives them yacht money. LolMISC Blood Drive (MOD REPS): https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=175220881

GOP is feeling Obama's girthy 9th inch well past his presidency.

Everyone hates politicians and the fact government doesn't work for the middle class, yet they enable the things they hate by placing imaginary benchmarks before candidates - benchmarks that only politicians could pass. I think 7-11 is a metaphor for the common man. By all means keep electing "Gee schucks, I have no balls and suck corporate cock for campaign money" politicians, but don't phucking bitch about it when you're getting bent over the barrel.
Believe it or not, not every pol must be an Ivy alum or worked in investment banking. FDR hired plebs to work in his administration and things went all right.Union Strong. Workers are stronger together.
