Im already sick of Nunes. Ill never forget what she did for us by stomping Rondas ass out of the sport, but shes gotten way too big for her britches already. They should feed her to Cyborg and humble her up. I suspect the cut to 135 had something to do with this pullout, and its just too risky to have a way too big fighter holding a belt you apparently want headlining/high up on PPV cards. Not sure why they would put her as a headliner in the first place tbh...shes not a draw, and girl fights being on PPV at all feels like a rip off, much less headlining.
Fight fans are here to see Romero and Bobby Knuckles, and Overeem/ Werdum anyways, Im just glad neither of those fights was lost. For every man, there is a sentence, a string of words, that has the power to destroy him

might be just dana hyping joanna up and fight probably won't happen. but if it does and she steps in, i'd gain a lot more respect for her.
i was thinking more in terms of ufc fixing weight cutting somehow. lots of fighters getting sick cause it's not the healthiest thing. We're All Gonna Make It

Would've been a great fight hope Joanna is able to step in on VERY SHORT notice, but the executive director thinks it's too late to replace Nunes with anyone.
Kimbo Slice was going to fight Ken Shamrock who suffered a cut the day of their scheduled fight, then Shamrock was replaced that day with Seth Petruzelli.
If they don't allow Joanna in then Elite XC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> UFC ffsBLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

This is what I am saying. I go years without getting sick. A high stress event where your body is significantly weakened by improper weight cutting is about the only way a professional athlete (using that term for WMMA feels wrong) gets sick 8 hours before having to perform. I dont care what it is, liver issues, kidney stones, massive onset of flu, etc...all this is triggered by the stress on the body of these regoddamndiculous weight cuts. Nunes is not a 135 lb fighter, she probably walks around at 165.

Lol, as if this card couldn't get any worse, I would 100% expect a refund if I bought tickets to this garbage. Not that the fight deserved to headline anyway.
And Nunez is a pussy. I'm reading that the doctor cleared her and she said she "doesn't feel good". Her job is to fight and if she can't fight with the cut she makes to fight at the weight she is the belt holder at - you need to move up or gtfo. Embarrassing, will root for her to get ****ed up in every fight going forward.Last edited by wickedman; 07-08-2017 at 01:50 PM.
