    Vegetables in general are overrated. Calorie-for-calorie, I can get much more nutrition out of animal-sourced alternatives, be it meat, dairy, eggs, fish, or whatever.

    And then there's the whole idea of "Heart-Healthy Whole Grains". Yeah, a nine-grain bagel with free-range grains farmed by virgins may be healthier choices in the context of eating donuts and other highly processed/refined candy-foods, but they still pose the same essential problems: insulin damage, inflammation that can manifest in a ton of different symptoms, and so on -- not so healthy for the heart.
