If were purely talking "popular hype" vs reality i would have to say


Gluten free topping the list since alot of people switched to gluten free to lose weight cuz obese and replaced normal bread with gluten free which is generally worse for you etc.. typically people who felt better did so cuz the removal of some products that contained gluten also contained other bull**** making them feel like chit and they just in general ate a better diet and so felt better. It isnt some magical fukking protein thet converts straight into fat.

Replacing high fructose corn syrup with agave.

Same fukking chit for you basically. Fukking lmao at people using agave instead of like normal sugar or honey or somthing and thinking its healthier.

I ate quinoa for dinner instead of rice.

Indian food on quinoa instead of rice. Cook w chicken broth instead of water. Neither have much taste, similar consistency, I'll take the quinoa 10/10 times.
