Eggs: roughly the same protein as fat, high in cholesterol
Milk (whole): lots of fat, nonfat skim milk gives around 9g protein/ cup without fat
Rice (white): tons of carb and not much else
Orange juice: tons of carbs and little else besides vitamin c
Spinach: very little protein and nutrients besides vitamin k

I read that whiskey was a great weight loss drink, until discovering that was simply as an alternative to beer and that it still piled on the calories unnecessarily. Several months later and no flat stomach, I got hella pissed.

quinoa: not as much protein as it's chocked up to be, and the "complete protein" bs means nothing unless ur vegan/vegetarian, in which case ur tours already over anyways.

Cant possibly see any food being overrated unless its somones cooking. All ingredients have their place but then again i dont get my knowledge about food from buzzfeed.
If were purely talking "popular hype" vs reality i would have to say
Gluten free topping the list since alot of people switched to gluten free to lose weight cuz obese and replaced normal bread with gluten free which is generally worse for you etc.. typically people who felt better did so cuz the removal of some products that contained gluten also contained other bull**** making them feel like chit and they just in general ate a better diet and so felt better. It isnt some magical fukking protein thet converts straight into fat.
Replacing high fructose corn syrup with agave.
Same fukking chit for you basically. Fukking lmao at people using agave instead of like normal sugar or honey or somthing and thinking its healthier.
Any health bar. its junk food, candybar with protein.

PEANUTBUTTER/any nut butters, or nuts in general. Lol they are so fuking high in fat and in cals. People eat a fuk ton and say theyre eating healthy, and wonder why they fat as fuk.
