He would be both the top hitter and home run leader.

You are comparing a pitcher to a hitter, which is pointless. Pujols is already done: his 93 wRC+ this season as a 1B/DH is pathetic. Only reason he's even playing is his albatross contract.

Yes, he's going to put up 30/100 because his absurd salary keeps him in the lineup. You understand that if he was Joe Blow making the league minimum he wouldn't even be in the majors right now, right? He can't even field 1B and his offensive output is that of a defense-oriented SS or CF LOL. He is a useless player, but because he's got nearly $90 million left on his deal AFTER this season he's going to be cemented in the lineup. So what exactly are you arguing right now?

I don't give a **** if he was on PED's or not, Barry Bonds was an elite hitter all the way up until his last season. Pujols can't come even close to him. His final 5 seasons (counting this season and last season plus the three years remaining) are going to be brutal. GOAT my ass.

Nobody said he was a good player anymore. But he is still going to produce for years to come. All that matters from this point on in his career is he keeps hitting for the sake of his career numbers. LOL at saying he is useless. Nobody that plays DH and hits 30/100 is useless.

Why not if he can post a .730 OPS and 20 hr and 80+ rbi?

I mean if he's healthy he isn't going below those numbers and he seems healthy again

I'd personally like to see it. I've always liked Pujols. I guess we will see. If he takes a massive pay cut to genuinely chase the record and puts up 25+ for the next couple years it will be exciting to see how it plays out.
