It's funny, because I probably wouldn't have negged you. Then you repped me with the "Come at me" comment. If you had negged me, I would have respected it.
And lol if you think you can trigger me. You flatter yourself. I've been here a long time. Seen people who actually have skill as trolls. People who actually have a real viewpoint.
You? Another pup who thinks he has it figured out. Spouts all kinds of tough guy sht, but still reps me while claiming he doesn't care.Jesus is my lifting partner.

Boomers didn't screw the housing market, the Chinese did. It's not about a generation of people but about a certain group or race. They could've screwed it in the 70s, 80s or 90s but they decided to do it now and take advantage of the growing population in the west, also to launder their money. Majority of these Chinese only started getting rich due to their economic growth in the past couple of decades. You have absolutely no clue.

Wait, so millennials are thinking they should be able to survive on minimum wage and there are no jobs, yet the unemployment rate is the close to the lowest its been in 40 years and when accounting for inflation gas and home prices are pretty much the same as it was in 1900?
I made minimum wage until I was 20 and lived with my parents. There's no way I could have moved out on minimum wage. I waited until I got a job making 3x minimum wage before even thinking of moving out.
Hey millennials, get your heads out of your asses.Last edited by pondus_levo; 06-07-2017 at 08:35 PM.

The toll to cross the gwb used to be just under $4. Now it's $15. The younger generation deals with disproportionately higher prices for rent, food, tuition, child care, etc. We're also paying the social security that goes to the older generations who constantly complain about us. In 1970, a single, average worker could support a household with a 40 hour workweek. That is nearly impossible today. It's asinine to apply their standards to the context of our work environment.

I don't get it min wage, in my city is $10.50 and kids can easily find a two bedroom apartment for ~$1400 and split. I didn't even move out until I was making 11/hr and my first apartment was $1200.
These kids have it made, I would have never been able to do that on min wage which was only $5.00 at the time.
My daughter is 20 and she is living on her own on min wage. She never complains about not having money, bought a car with her own money, and is also going to school.
uh, bs, my parents needed dual income to support my sister and I, and my dad was in upper management. We never had any excess and NEVER went out to eat. I am way better off than my parents were as I was able to support a wife and 3 kids on my own.
Most people just don't know how to live within a budget.Last edited by pondus_levo; 06-07-2017 at 09:01 PM.

this. The Mike Rowe / Cal Newport philosophy of go where there's opportunity and grind. You literally can't fail if you're doing **** no one else wants to do.
A big problem with my generation is the perpetuation of 'follow your dream mane' and social media pushing this chit even more. Brahs end up spinning their wheels trying to be the next zuckerberg or tiesto while another brah is buying a house at 22 with a new truck in the driveway from his pipefitting job. But no one wants to risk being called a 'wage cuck' so instead some of these brahs sit online r/entrepreneur trying to find a loophole to get some cash instead of grinding in a field that has opportunityLast edited by visionz1234; 06-07-2017 at 09:16 PM.

It's impossible becuase you wanna live in a nice city with nice schools in a nice neighborhood in a nice house. GTFO, if you really wanna work hard, budget hard and make a single breadwinner household work you can do it.
From age 4+ I worked the fields picking fruit every summer. Made ~$200 for an entire summer. As a teenager I worked for $2 per hour every summer, evenings and weekends. Worked more jobs that I can list.
Gave me an appetite to succeed, and never take chit for granted. But I never deserved anything. I knew I had to work hard to succeed in life and thankfully my parents gave me an opportunity.
I appreciate every single opportunity I've ever gotten, I am so incredibly lucky to have been born in a first world country with all these ridiculous amenities and to never go hungry.
Pack of entitled whining *******s is all I see for the most part now for anyone <25 or so.𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖘𝖊 𝖆 𝖈𝖍𝖊𝖈𝕶, 𝖓𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗 𝖈𝖍𝖆𝖘𝖊 𝖆 𝖇𝖎𝖙𝖈𝖍

Yes, most of us millenials didn't work the fields at 5 years of age. Gosh, didn't realize that was a normal thing amongst the the gen xers and boomers. That must be the key to their success. Here I thought they were living off of the economic benefits that the greatest generation won for them by coming out on top from a brutal world war.
Srs though, boomers destroyed the economy by selling out their country, and now sit around whining about why we can't find the jobs that they outsourced. Piss offLast edited by Adam16121; 06-07-2017 at 09:24 PM.

They can't find a job because they choose fcuktard degrees and/or fail to prepare carefully to show companies how then can add value and profitability.
There's PLENTY of jobs out there, but you don't get one because you have your name on a piece of paper ffs. This is the sort of entitlement I'm talking about with a total disconnect from economic reality.𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖘𝖊 𝖆 𝖈𝖍𝖊𝖈𝕶, 𝖓𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗 𝖈𝖍𝖆𝖘𝖊 𝖆 𝖇𝖎𝖙𝖈𝖍

I got into my professional program in 2003. The school had scouting fairs yearly, where companies would hire students in their last professional year, enticing them with a sign on bonus of 10-15k that they would receive immediately. I had friends who got that bonus, and were rocking big screen tvs and BMWs just before they graduated. This had been going on for a long time. When I graduated in 2009, there were no bonuses and there was no career fair. The companies that used to hire students in the past were now cutting jobs, rather than adding them. We had to fight for work in an industry where established workers with experience were being let go. Don't tell me that we had it easier than previous generations, because my whole class of graduates (STEM/Medical) would beg to differ.
