    Protein leads me to go hard to toilet...very hard

    Hey guys, I hope you are fine.

    I have a bit embarrassing question – sorry for asking but I need to know the answer. I would highly appreciate if you share your knowledge/experience.

    I bought a protein called Myprotein, its whey protein – I am sure you all are familiar with this brand.

    When I take it e.g at the morning then by the night time I should defo go for a poo – the protein shake simply leads me to go to toilet at the end of the day.

    Now, the beauty of going to toilet is that when I go to the toilet I struggle to poo, in other words I am about to get sweat by pushing the poo out of my arse. It comes out very slowly and it is hell heavy, it’s about to cause a fcking tsunami in the toilet when it hits the water.

    Any ideas why does the protein makes my poo go hard like a concrete?

    Also, the protein cause me farting a lot – I will literally make any skunk animal jealous.

    Please share some knowledge experience with me and tell me whether it is all normal?

    I do not take a lot of shake so I do not exceed to **** powder.

    My diet is good and I drink hell a lot of water.

    Are you sensitive to dairy?

    Maybe check out an isolate protein or a plant based protein like RawFusion.

    Not sure what else it could be then besides possibly sweeteners or something. Maybe try another brand and see what happens.

    If you have no issues with dairy, I would simply just try a different brand of protein. Try out PES Select or protein by USP labs, maybe get a small bottle to see how it goes.

    If dairy isn't an issue, I agree with about, you need to switch brands. Get some two pounders and give them a try. Tons of quality proteins out there like 100% Whey Protean, Precision Protein, Dymatize, Controlled Labs, etc.

    Your first problem is your protein so drop it like its hot. consume enough fibre and if you really want to use protein powders there are lots of great ones out there.

    OP's poops is coming out like from what it sounds like dense and not sharts. WTF is the fiber going to do? It's likely going to dry that poop up even more. Also, wtf is the fiber going to do for farts? Nothing.

    Fiber increases bulk to the stool and pulls water into the colon to add mass and moisture to the stool.. it wont dry stool up.

    Pulls in water and adds mass. Sounds to be like the OP should take 3-5g of fiber on training days only.

    Thanks you guys for the contribution.

    Yeah I tried various proteins including overpraised Optimum Nutrition. Optimum Nutrition did not seem to be as helpful as this fart leading protein. Myprotein seems to be more helpful I guess but the only problems are the one which I mentioned before. I guess I will have to move to a different brand.
