    Arm day benefits?

I have always done back and bis and chest and tris. But it's getting to be a bit Monotonous to me. I want to change things up and am thinking of doing arm day , chest shoulders, back abs, would this be a good way to go? Any suggestions on how to change it up and get the most gains?

Sounds like a bro split. Just follow a proven program.
Just show up. Move some iron. Put in the time. Eat enough food.

A day just for arms is not your best bet. Natural lifters benefit more from more frequency than 1 day a week per muscle group. Look into a split that has each group getting hit twice. The volume is lower each session however more frequency will yield better results. As far as arms, some guys don't work em directly and get great results. Your genetics will dictate your arm training.

    Do you have legs?

If so... might think about throwing them in too...

I do legs also. Currently I do chest/tris, back/bis, legs and shoulders. I throw in abs every 3 days doesn't matter what else I'm doing. So I work 6 days a week. A rest day between legs day and chest day. And I switch up what kind of exercises I do for each groups day. But just seems to be getting a bit boring doing the same days over and over so I thought maybe a arm day might change it up a bit.

For a natural lifter its recommended to train each body part 2/3 times per week with a reduced volume for better results which is impossible doing an arm day, leg day etc.

frequency is better as long as well as a slow, calculated increase of volume over time. Doubt you're at the point where you need to completely obliterate arms in order for them to grow.

Have to differ from the crowd here to say that there are benefits to an arms day. For one, it frees up more time and strength to fully hit chest and back more fully rather than cutting short because now you have to go do tris or bis in the same workout.

Just do arms later in your series rather than first day so you don't interfere with a good chest or back workout because your arms are too sore or weak.

it's always good to change things up.
The body eventually adapts to your training and gains slow down.
Also if your arms are a weak point an"arm day"is a good thing IMO.
Arms are a weaker area for me so like when i have a bicep/tricep/forearm day on it's own.
You aren't fatiqued like say if you did back first then biceps.
You can get a better pump and the intensity is greater.
And also you can usually use a little more weight.
Bottom line is there is no written rule on how you train it's what works best for you personally.
Give it a try for a month and see how it works for you.
I would just make sure your arm day is after chest, shoulder and back day,and before leg day so it doesn't interfere with your pushing or pulling doing those body parts.
