yet Westbrook performs the same kicking motion in that series and people don't say a peep. Actually Westbrook has a history of extended leg kicks over the course of his career. It's a very common occurrence whenever you get blocked as you go up for the shot and lose the ball, you flail out. Whether it's a means to draw a foul, it's natural motion to maintain balance, or they are extending their limbs to try and recover the ball, I don't know.

Yes I have. The guy landed on one foot. It was all around just a bad setup. Weakened ankle plus off balance landing plus another person's foot in the mix isn't good. Really hoping he can get some Mr. Miyagi magic and play next game.

He was fading away as he shot the ball. It was nowhere near as egregious as that photo insinuates

Him fading away actually makes it worse in my opinion. Not like Zaza was doing a full sprint and trying to block the shot, he just shuffled with his hand up. So with Kawhi fading, Zaza had to take an extra step to get under him.

Ultimately, it's pretty hard to speak on intent. But at the very least, it's a reckless attempt of a closeout.
