So annoying/cringey how many people are tattoo'ed up now (getting worse every year)

I don't have any tattoos, but it is hilarious hearing some of you judge the chit out of someone you don't even know. Some of the nicest people I've ever met have tattoos, but since they have tattoos they're obviously useless trash and whores...

It's a huge fad right now whose popularity will be it's downfall. 10-15 years from now no young kids will want tats because their nerdy parents have nerdy tattoos.

Spend a day at the pool with my kids, mom and dad bods everywhere with terrible tattoos, to each their own I suppose.

An ex of mine was on the tat bandwagon. Had a couple real decent ones that were respectable. But some .. Not so much. Anyways, almost a year into this relationship were talking one night in bed and she decides to tell me this story about one of her tats on here front lower hip (like under her panty line) and how the tattoo artist got fresh and rubbed her clit n chit while she was getting it. Me and my mates were getting blackout drunk on a weekend and decided to go and entertain ourselves on behalf of some immigrants haha. Anyway one thing led to another and I ended up getting a swastika tattoo on the back of my head. I didn't remember getting it, but I found out about it when I was confronted by some random guy on the street haha. I've grown up a lot since then and I have realized that attacking everyone who's different than me is not the answer, so nowadays I just target jews.

Yeah, when I did mine some odd 5 years ago it was still pretty rare in Brazil, but after some ******* fitness girls (who were/are famous) started getting tattoed everywhere the girls adopted it and the guys followed the pussy. Now it's harder to find a mid 20s year old who doesn't have a tat than one that does. There are shops that literally have catalogues of "what's in" right now ... I would honestly get some of mine erased if laser removal didn't look like **** and took ages to look good. I never did it to be edgy or trendy but now I'm agglomerated with the needle-happy teens lol

I have a fair few tattoo's, all of which I painstakingly designed and drew up myself, collaborated with a high-profile artist for any recommended amendments so as to fit my body type appropriately, and paid more to have them expertly designed and applied, all of which I don't carry a single regret with, not one in the almost ten years I have been getting tattooed.

You could point to any tattoo on my body and I could tell you a story about it, why it is important to me, what it means and when I decided it deserved adornment on my person.

So, tell me OP... Does that fit in with your standard, or na'

Psych studies indicate that people with tats have high levels of anxiety and that the tat tends to mean the opposite of what the symbol is. For instance, depressed people get "happy tats" and cowards get "tough" tats. If you didn't like your mom, but feel anxious and bad about it, you'll get a "mom" tat. This makes complete sense because if you are happy, you barely know it and don't need to broadcast it. Some with being tough and loving your mom.

So, it is likely you don't really care about what the tat overtly mean and probably feel like you have no stories and that's why you get tats to act like you have stories.

So, when people see your tats they will either know that or wonder why you feel the need to get pictures drawn on you like that to say something.
