Honestly, what's the big deal about this? I could see where other find critique (as in it looks bad for trump), but this guy has proven to be incompetent between his meddlings, his disaster Clinton hearing, and the fact that he somehow happens to be in the news every other day. Good riddance

big news. comey has really been all over the place.

comey let Hillary off the hook last summer in the server/classified email investigation. remember his press conference where he was laying out all of the evidence that made her look blatantly guilty and then he said "no reasonable prosecutor would make this a case" or whatever his exact quote was. and then one week before the election he shocked everyone by re-opening the investigation but just a couple of days later closed it again by saying nothing new had been found. that news definitely hurt hillary (to what degree is arguable).

-comey is disliked by trump supporters for not bringing charges against Hillary
-comey is disliked by Hillary supporters for bringing her unwanted negative attention in the final week of the campaign that may have cost her the election.

many liberals/media will now all of a sudden love comey JUST because it was trump that fired him and whatever action trump takes the libs/media feel the need to take the opposite view. and they will say that trump fired comey because comey is investigating him therefore TRUMP RUSSIA REEEEEEEE!

The left were the ones that led to the firing. They were the ones having a meltdown about Comey's "misstatements" under oath, causing him to issue an official retraction/correction to the record today. Trump says enough is enough, this guy can no longer lead the FBI...and fires him.
