I honestly think the 90s were peak Western Civilization.
brb defeat communism, capitalism and freedom ascendant and unchallenged as the ideal end of times political ideology
brb go to bars to pick up girls with self-esteem roughly proportional to their attractiveness because lack of social media validation
brb people much more socially competent
brb people do activities for intrinsic value instead of social media considerations
brb no PC culture, political discourse is far more reasonable
brb technology / health care still pretty reasonable and life expectancy more or less the same
brb kids still go outside to do sports, play in the neighborhood
brb Islamic terrorism not a thing
etc, it's a shame really.

I am so glad I got to grow up in the 90's. It was the peak, I believe, like the poster above said. I will always have the happy memories of being in the 90's, no one can take that away from me no matter how chitty my life is at this moment or in the future.
When I look at today's kids, I kind of feel sorry for them, they will never experience what life was like in the 90's, IMO.

I miss when the only thing to worry about was making it home by 4:30 to watch DBZ after school
todays kids can watch whateverthe fuk they want whenever they want to“Gotta have opposites, light and dark and dark and light, in painting. It’s like in life. Gotta have a little sadness once in awhile so you know when the good times come" - Bob Ross

I wonder if life was better as a 24 year old in the 90s.. I was a child in the 90s and it felt like heaven, but what about older brahs? Was it better than now?
I feel like they perceived time slower because everything wasn't so high paced and we didn't get so much information at all times..Also people had more adventures I think.. Dunno brahs, feel like this instagram swag chit sucks but everyone says that about their generation, does this generation truly suck more?
