...and the only people to blame for this are their retarded baby boomer grandparents and parents for letting the government get out of control.
About a third of 18- to 34-year-olds in the U.S. live at home, the Census Bureau reported on Wednesday. That includes college dormitories. Among 25- to 34-year-olds living at home, one in four is neither enrolled in school nor working. That's 2.2 million people, a small percentage of the nation's more than 70 million millennials but a striking figure nonetheless.

What are you if you work/train/educate by day and NEET by night?
It is not so much the major events as the small day-to-day decisions that map the course of our living. . . Our lives are, in reality, the sum total of our seemingly unimportant decisions and of our capacity to live by those decisions. ― Gordon B. Hinckley

Perhaps because living at home past the age of 18 makes you depressed af if your parents are crappy, and depressed people aren't motivated to do things when so much effort and work is rewarded with so little in terms of spending power... You can't buy a place, you can barely afford to rent one if you're in debt or in a low position at a company
The older generation can't ruin and falsly inflate the housing market until bursting point so that your crappy home can keep gaining value without the side affect of having to support your dumb ass kid because now they can't move out into the housing market that you fcked up. Take the hit, build some houses, lower the market value of a few places rather than just letting it burst, and create some young people who have a reason to become skilled in something and start living their lives. If I laugh, I rep

I can understand that. Working for someone else for all your life, having boring workmates, ungrateful boss etc. Or chillin and playing games all day. It works now. But what are they gonna do when their parents are too old to support them anymore ?

Don't understand how people let this happen to themselves
Growing up i had nothing, i had no parents to give me money and i was the joke of the school for being the poor kid, from age 13 all i tried to do was find a job but never got any response obviously, but as soon as i tried 16 i got into work and have never been out of work since.
Got my own place age 23 and still work so me and my kids can have nice things.
How can you respect yourself if you are in your mid 20s and still don't earn your own living and get mummy and daddy to sort you out?

Okay so what.
This says that 75% of those people who are living at home are making money or trying to improve themselves.
Frankly that's a shame. I wish it was only 50%. The less people grinding the easier it is to climb to the top.
Lets hope that 25% reaches 80% some day, and not because of economic failure. I gotta make the top 20% somehow.AP4 Crew.
