he was in there for life , I would have done the same . The one reason someone doesn't is cause they have hope they will get out someday .

It is not so much about proving that he didn't do the second murder as it was doubting the prosecution's story. Hernandez's lawyers took a page directly from the OJ playbook. The reason why OJ got off wasn't because he didn't do it (he did do it) it was because Johnnie Cochran was able to poke enough holes in the prosecution's story by way of using race that the jury was convinced that the state railroaded OJ. In Hernandez's case the sole eye witness that placed the gun in the hands of Hernandez had a sketchy past and a beef with him already because Aaron shot him in the face. That was enough to sell the doubt to the jury and that is why he was acquitted.

I just saw this posted on FB, no idea if there is truth to this. Misc lawyers chime in
Aaron Hernandez committed suicide because under the state of Massachusetts's law, if you die during an appeal of conviction, the original conviction becomes null and void. This means he technically never violated the New England Patriots contract, thus his daughter is now entitled to the remainder of the guaranteed $15 million the Patriots owe him.6'1 - 240lbs

ive heard that reported by ESPN and TSN that he won his case last week, and appealed his conviction, and as he was unable to defend himself (cuz hes dead) it reverts back to the beginning, innocent as he wasnt proven guilty.
but ive also read that he had some sort or Mary Jane in his system that he obviously shouldnt of and that is signifying it was a murderKeep mod discussions out of your sig line

Yes I posted about this yesterday. Remember the priest John Geoghan? He was killed in that prison back in 2004. He was the one that had sexually abused all those boys. There was 147 alleged victims and many of the cases were still ongoing and hadn't been to trial. After he died many of those remaining cases were dropped.

He's a convicted murderer. He was staying in that cell for life, he thought he could pull off the oooold glove didnt fit, but nope. Homeboy got locked up for life for slaying someone. Our tax money was going to let this guy barely survive in jail for the next 60-70 years? No thanks. Hate to say it, but good he killed himself. He's a killer.

Good riddance.
He was a professional football player. He was living the dream of millions of people by being a professional athlete. He was a multi-millionaire, he had nice cars, a big house, a girl, a kid, played for one of the most storied franchises in NFL history, played with arguably the greatest quarterback in football history, and for one of the greatest coaches in football history. And he threw it all away, and for what? For all the streets? The gangbangers he was killing people with aren't the ones that received a life sentence. They aren't the ones that were playing in the NFL. Aaron Hernandez had it all, and he threw it all away. It is also necessary to point out that there was a high number of shootings that he was associated with.
To conclude, may God be with his family, his kid who will have to live with what her father did, and may be mocked for it in school( children can be ruthless), and all of his victims' family. As for Aaron Hernandez himself, he gets absolutely no sympathy from me.
May he rot in hell.
