finally talked to a girl (no pics)

Always couldn't talk to chicks. Even with the help of friends pushing me I could just never. But today my friends it was different finally. Took a lot out of me (Srs) to talk to her.

How it went :

Hey can I join you? (She was sitting alone at the table finally or she's always with her friend) *pulls chair and sits down before she even says anything*
Her: yeah I'm just working on some [i honestly don't FOKn know it was something super long] . *she seemed caught by surprise so it took her a while to say something*
Me : that's cool . What's your name ? *pulls out hand for handshake *
Her: it's kaitlyn
Me: oh ok. We're just working on a quiz over there(was with friends and a prof) I've seen you around on campus a lot . I guess it's hard not to. Not a lot of girls in this campus. (Our campus is trades so not many females at all)
Her: yeah * she def thought I was going to compliment her but she got got* <said some other crap I don't remember>
Me: so you must spend most of your time at the other campus because you're in that program?
Her: yeah ..blah blah blah . How about you?
Me: blah blah blah. So how do you like it here ? That campus is a lot better.
Her: it's not too bad really I had a lot of guys in the course I take so it feels pretty normal being one of the few girls here
Me: oh ok that's good. I just wanted to say hello because I've seen you around and didn't want to be weird or whatever.
*she smiles because I'm being an awkward ******* at this point and stressing about what to say and phuck up *
Her : { don't remember what she said }
Me: at least the weather is getting nicer
Her : yeah definitely it is
Me : ( was suppose to talk about if she saw the basketball tournament outside but under pressure phucked it up) ok I'll see you around then
Her: yeah you too

Me: *walk away feeling NOT beta but not alpha either because I finally took a step to talk to a girl*

Honestly I wasn't even trying to go for a number yet . Maybe it surprised her? In my head I just wanted to make some friendly conversation in order to get comfortable approaching chicks . And I think this def boosted my confidence . I know it might still seem beta AF to most people on here but progress is better than nothing right?

Will take suggestions on how to improve game , etc.

You need to talk about the things you have in common "Have you taken this prof, your major, not a lot of women here, what brought you to the field" etc etc. bishes love to talk about themselves.

Learn from this. When the conversation is coming to a close and you haven't completely freaked her out end with "Well I have to get back to being an awkward fa loser (or studying whatever) would you like to grab lunch some time?"
