This one actually does, from what I've been watching. I'd say it's much more cohesive than D1, but that isn't saying much, considering D1 was garbage on that front.

My favorite part was Kings Fall and what you were in changed as the minutes went by.

Not at all. Probably even more difficult to follow during playing it, since most of the story was in these little cards you got from events and items... That you then had to go to bungie.net to read.

funny how I wasn't that excited about playing but now that my Amazon order will be at my door tomorrow afternoon, I cant wait to play. Good thing is, Iv got all my friends from back home that are complete Destiny fanboys so we've got a clan already to go.

I mean, my impressions are from a few hours of watching gameplay, and it actually looks leagues better than D1. Story actually flows, forces you to level before moving on, gives actual rewards worth wanting, and they seem to focus on the other characters in the world, giving them much more humanity.

Don't know about longevity, but so far, the leveling up process seems much more substantial and engaging, giving much better rewards and purpose to it all.

I cancelled my pre order for COD due to it being a joke and looking for a new game to play. Figured I'd give this game a shot and see what the hype is about.

Destiny 1 RNG hated me. I seriously only got gally until I got the DLC that gave you one. Fatebringer and others took 5ever to get. That's the one thing I hated about Destiny 1. I read the 'psychology' that they put behind RNG, and I became salty.

But I did have fun playing D1 with friends.

If they improved RNG for D2, I will enjoy putting hundreds of hours into it.

One thing to keep in mind; the guy I'm watching is 9 hours in, and lvl 17 out of 20. That will mean different things to different people.

Interesting. Have they restricted PVP requirements for lower levels since Taken King? I remember you could just PVP your way to level 10 and hard mode the rest of the early story lines for extra xp.
