no I would and did give them another chance simply because of my past interaction with them and their willingness to fix the issues.
I ordered one of their barbell holders and it arrived today in good condition. If I would have read this thread and the op was saying how they flat out refused to help him or told him that he was wrong then I would not have purchased from them.
would I have loved to buy Rogue or some other American made product? Of course but at the time I wasn't in a position to do so and honestly I'm glad to have found the titan rack before I chose one of the other racks in the same price tier.

It looks similar to a dog sled I picked up for $125 or so with a free harness.
I did have to add skis for my driveway. I noticed the Titan one does not have the skis either.
I also like how I can attach my harness and battle rope easily on my cheap one. I guess if you want the attachments and not the skis, it is worth a look.

I'm interested to see what their Mono looks like as well, but there's certain things I'd prefer to overpay on just for piece of mind. I have no problems buying certain items from them, but things like racks, Monos, safeties, I'm likely to spend the extra cash from a more reliable source.

I missed that...yes...no way I would use it without them on pavement. The DogSled is my favorite outdoor exercise. The skis last me an entire year on concrete. Mine had a free harness but not the skis...would switch that for the skis in a hearbeat but it is great having a harness as well.

I understand both points of view. I mainly base my support for Titan off the numerous regulars here who own Titan T3 racks and other comparable Rogue items, and have spoken favorably of the quality comparison. That and I have been on a value hunt ever since I bought my Atlas flat bench, REP Hex plates, and then the reject stainless barbell (which I still love). 70Chev, Hardgains, and DieselMike to name a few who have purchased Titan items and seem pleased with them, I respect the opinion of these guys.

95% sure I'm going to order the T-3 rack from Titan tomorrow. I'll update everyone if I do.

I purchased a T-2 about a year ago and had nothing but issues. My uprights are all out of wack and the whole rack is bent up. I took plenty of photos and sent titan tons of pics. Spent HOURS messing with it and they wouldn't send me a new one unless I sent back the other (leaving me without one and unable to use my gyms for weeks). I wasn't to thrilled and wouldn't purchase again.

No offense.... sending back what yoi want to return is usually part of the deal! I know it sucks being without your stuff, but you cant really expect them to not want the old one back

FWIW (I hate leaving loose ends lying around) I did receive the replacement upright, intact.
Now that it's all put together and I have a couple of workouts on it, I'm happy with it. Was the added aggravation worth it? In the end I have to say yes.
There's a whole list of things Titan could do better or different, but I think I'll do a detailed (and brutally honest) review and go over it all there. If by some miracle they pay attention, maybe a few things will improve in the future. From what I've seen they DO tend to listen and work on things over time.
One last thing. Although it's not nearly as aesthetically pleasing as say a Rouge R6, this thing isn't going to fail unless you hit it with a Buick at full speed. Certainly not by a mortal with a loaded barbell. I realize some will disagree with that, and I'm hesitant to say you're wrong. But let's face it...how many rack failures have you heard of that you KNOW weren't just urban legend? The forces involved would have to be incredible. I actually did some searching and I couldn't find one. I found plenty of "looks like it would fail" but can't find any that actually did. If you know of any I'd love to hear about it, with pics preferably. I imagine there has to be some especially by some upper level power lifters. But with 2x3" or better uprights and 11 ga steel, even Chinese steel? I'd just love to see HOW it failed.

Nice to hear that you got your rack together and are happy with it. Yeah, Titan's shipping process is not so good, but their CS is responsive and usually come through in the end. I agree with you that the hassle is worth it in the end. I find their products to be quite robust and very reasonably priced. Wish they had swing-in/flip-down safeties for the rack though, or even a strap safety system would be nice. The pin-in-pipe safety system is annoying to change.
I am thinking of upgrading my T-3 to a T-6, but haven't figured out what added benefit that would give my workouts other having an imposing looking rack in the room. From what I gather, the 6-post gives more flexibility in plate storage and provides some added stability to the rack. But the extra rack space doesn't seem to provide any additional benefit/advantages in the actual workout. But I still want it

I did. It's ugly, it's nasty, it should have never made it past QC. Nobody is disputing that. I would have sent it back too.
And I still don't see a failure, which is what I was asking for. I WANT to see one example just to see HOW it failed. But OPs issue wasn't about a failure, it was about a crappy piece(es). And no, I wouldn't take the chance either on that defect.Last edited by ModernWizard; 04-08-2017 at 11:22 AM.

I didn't want to keep the old one, just wanted them to send out the new one before I had to disassemble and send out my current messed up one. I would have been unable to use my home gym for weeks. I also offered to give them back all the uprights they sent me that didn't resolve the issue.

I get that, and i know it sucks, but most companies wont "front" the equipment being swapped. I know your trustworthy and would send the rack back after, but im willing to bet that they would not get too many back if they sent replacements before the old stuff was semt back.

Sounds odd? Why would it take weeks for them to ship you new uprights? My orders are at my door within 2 days, and a few have been there the next day? Maybe A week being generous, aside from backorder/out of stock. From what you're posting, your 'messed up' rack is still useable? I'd be interested to see pics of what's up with your rack.
Modernwizard - glad you got all taken care of. It's a PIA when you receive something and still can't use it, but in the end when it gets worked out, it's all good.
I'm also interested to hear from the OP, and how the new uprights worked out and his take on the rack with non-defective parts.

When I received a defective monolift, I contacted Rogue and they sent me a replacement. After the replacement arrived and they made sure I was satisfied with it, they arranged for UPS to pick up the original defective monolift. I think that's how Rogue typically handles sending out replacements for defective products.
