I'd say if you have only been working out 6 months, but have a 'chest and arm' day than you are an idiot who should be on a proven beginner routine.
TRAINING
Start with a solid beginner routine, these are designed to get the most for you; they are designed by professionals and use progressive overload. Read through them and pick the one you like most, follow it as it is written.

If you have to ask then you shouldn't be programming for yourself and if you were on a proven routine like you claim then you shouldn't need to ask this question anyway.
Like it or not, you've been training for 6 months, you're still a beginner so follow a proven beginners routine, if you don't like this advice then don't take it but regardless of what you think it is good advice.Squat: 202.5kg | 446lbs

This, from a guy who posted a thread titled "I skip leg day every day" ( https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showt...post1486820431 ).
Proven routine. Yea, sure.
