i feel like predictions are a slippery slope. even if they are guessing a broken clock is right twice a day. enough theories and someone's going to be right even if they haven't seen the leaks

So wait, you don't get Dany's dragons and army if you pick her. Hehe, then what hell use is she. She's fire proof and sex. That's like the most usable things about her and I don't even find her attractive.

I still maintain this is the best squad for the money...and for you *******s picking more than one person per spot you can only do one from each.
Leader - Jon Snow
Magic - Bran Stark
Strategist - Olenna Tyrell
Fighter - Arya Stark
Muscle - Hound
Jon - knows how to fight, inspires friends and foes to follow him, fuking Prince that was Promised/Azor Ahai, people follow him cuz he's the man not cuz of his family name but he'll have that soon enough too
Bran - knows all, can warg into whatever the fuk he wants. Good luck out maneuvering with him giving recon. Team boost due to Team Stark bloodlines.
Olenna Tyrell - years of experience, just as smart as any of the guys on that list. Jon knows the war chit, Bran provides the intel and Olenna drops truth bombs and steers them in the right direction
Arya - Faceless man at this point. Can infiltrate any situation and take out people not suspecting anything. Team boost due to Team Stark bloodlines.
Hound - huge, knows how to fight, brings the lulz. Team boost due to Arya.
Honestly any team without Bran should be scrapped right away. Arya is like a 2 for 1 special. Jony Snow is Ice and Fire.

They are a slippery slope which is why I warn people they could get negged if they hit too close to what actually happens.
Some things are pretty easy to predict. For instance anyone with half a brain could see Euron and Cersei would team up and Jon and Dany would team up heading into this season.
However when people start to predict things that are a bit too specific well then they may get negged.
Those things above are easy to predict.
"Euron and Cersei team up" - you're good
"Hodor dies holding a door so Bran and Meera can escape the White Walkers"....you're getting negged.
"Jamie tries to kill Dany as she's helping Drogon"....negged

He's right, but knights in full plate armor only make up a very small amount of the fighting force. The majority of the Lannister forces, as with all the armies in the Seven Kingdoms, consist mostly of lightly armored foot soldiers, and they'll get steamrolled by cavalry.

Should president trump pull a Jamie Lannister. He should completely desert Guam, let NK invade it meanwhile Trump comes riding in on a black nuke on the seas of NK ready to fuk up their undermanned army

Poor writing. As I and many others have stated earlier, the drop in writing quality has really hurt the smarter characters like Littlefinger and Tyrion.
That and they had him make the incredibly stupid decision of marrying Sansa off the Ramsay Bolton of all people, which is the kind of mistake a mastermind like Litterfinger would never make. This put him in a rather awkward position in the story, as his credibility as a master schemer has been greatly hurt.

Yeah I noticed this too. They went from full plate armor to peasant armor really quick.
I just summed it up to the fact that when they were marching on High Garden they were prepared for combat. When they were marching back to Kings Landing, they more or less were mobile and not trying to be weighed down.
Still not sure where the armor went, but whatever."If in my say 80 years on earth I do more help than damage, then I feel complete."

lolol, I swear when Trump said" Fire and fury" He's just come off from watching the last episode , picked up his phone and tweeted. Which leader would be Kim Jong Un in Game of Thrones? Euron unpredictable , claims to have a vast arsenal behind him, doesn't care about his people.

R+L=J Compilation of hints from scenes throughout the show. Not sure if anyone has posted this yet.

Yeah, the show is very inconsistent that way. Armor and weapons used to matter a lot on the show, as they should. But as the show went on they began to mirror typical fantasy portrayals in that armor just became decorative. I still cringe when I remember that scene where Ramsy Bolton fought a bunch of armed and armored soldiers while fuking shirtless. And there were those other stupid scenes when the Sons of the Harpy somehow killed armed and armored soldiers wearing robes and armed with only knives.

That's the death in the series that rustled me the most - I always hate when a show doesn't give you an actual visual confirmation of a character's death as if they're leaving the door open for some alternative scenario to happen (e.g. what ended up happening with The Hound)
This is most likely just my wishful thinking but is there any chance at all that Brienne spared Stannis in some way and that there's a chance he's still alive?

completely butchered his character, but the fact he died probably means he's not gona make it in the books as well. His entire story line was a mess, could've given him a proper ending.
True i'd love to see that ******* 1v1 an annointed knight in his prime like Jamie

he was solid until they made him kill his own daughter. i was team stannis until the daughter killing part. ruined everything about him the second he left castle black.
i think what would have been better was jon joining stannis after he revives, they take winterfell, the north calls jon king of the north, and stannis continues to cooperate with jon. though that would leave stannis with no lands when daenerys comes. and there'd definitely be a feud between those two.
or have stannis still perish, but at the battle of the bastards when jon fought. the way he went out was utterly terrible.Last edited by 2RDEYE; 08-10-2017 at 05:43 PM.

goddam its only Thursday!
“We have these — these talking heads who have gotten the vaccine and are telling other people not to get the vaccine,” Gov. Spencer Cox (R) said.
“That kind of stuff is just, it’s ridiculous. It’s dangerous, it’s damaging, and it’s killing people. I mean, it’s literally killing their supporters. And that makes no sense to me.”

I was thinking about this as well back in Season 1 when Jorah Mormont was schooling that cocky Dothraki about how his plate armor gave him all the advantage.
As for Ramsay, I liked the ideas behind the character, but they (1) failed to really develop him past a batchit crazy masochist, especially when it could have at least helped to justify his skills, and (2) Deus Ex Viginti Bonorum, i.e. Twenty Good Men...
Sons of the Harpy slaying the Unsullied was embarrassing, especially since they're basically the upper crust ponces wearing fruity masks at the end of the day. Not the fighting pits contestants or assassins. Just richie riches taking down the supposedly most disciplined warriors.
Spoiler alert:
Plate Armor > furs
Makes me sad you weren't a writer for them because any of those would have been far, far better than how Stannis was taken out of the picture.
Despite GRRM supposedly telling the showrunners that was how Shireen was supposed to die in the books, I think they rushed that along so poorly as to betray the character. I can imagine the idea of Melisandre slowly poisoning his mind, but (1) all it took was the blood sacrifices and the three kings' deaths to suddenly addle Stannis' mind, (2) it wasn't long enough to even build up, (3) Stannis' personality never actually wavered enough for it to give the impression that his thirst for power corrupted him to the point of doing something even his crazy wife protested against, and (4) he never considers a route that doesn't involve burning his one and only daughter, e.g. burning a few drops of her blood.I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine

Lol @ all the dumb responses for this picture. Just LOL @ you if this isn't your exact settup
Leader: Stannis ( because why the fk not? Jon and Dany aren't meant to be leaders, all the have is their family lineage while Stannis is a born leader) $2
Magic: Jaqen H'aggar (He's by far the most dangerous assasin in this series and we don't even understand the extent of his capabilities) $3
Strategists: Robb Stark (He was the GOAT war strategist we've seen and was even beating Tywin who somehow costs more?) $3
Fighter: Oberyn (Didn't think this was too important but Oberyn seems to be the strongest fighter we've seen in the show)$5
Muscle: Hound (Not as strong as the first few options but he still very formidable and very cheap) $2+Positive Crew+
Cant spell defiantly crew
