I think there's a chance that nobody thought to care either. The assumption was that the greatest dynasty of all time was brought to ruin in Roberts Rebellion. The only remaining Targs were Viserys and Dany and people probably doubted they'd ever see those fools again with the one true GOAT King Bob on the throne. Then the events of GOT started happening and people really didn't give a fugg about secret Targs.

Arya is playing littlefinger. Shes creating drama to lure littlefinger to put a hit on her, so she has a reason to kill him, take his face, and control the knights of the vale.
Shes a faceless man. Her senses are heightened and well aware of littlefinger. She's been playing Sansa too. By obviously leaving her bag of faces, then all of a sudden showing up in the room, then informing sansa who she has become. Arya takes the dagger and gives it to sansa to let her know shes on her side.
Why would Arya walk into littlefingers room without a face? Because she wanted littlefinger to see her.

I like how he basically says, "If the shows was doing badly I'd give a fuk, but since we are still smashing viewer counts I dont give a fuk"
What an absolute legend. This is just part of this sprint to wrap everything up. SHould have added 1 more season and let things play out a little bit more.
Still cant wait till they find the sand snake in the cell with the corpse of the daughter. Because its had to be like what, months already right?
Why do you think she is going to take his face?
Also do you thing the original faceless man is going to make another appearance? Doesn't he pretty much have to? ALSO curious as to how the golden company is going to play out when they have what, 6 episodes left of the entire series? The mention may have just been a nod to them since they played such a large part in the booksBelief without evidence is a fools game.

I wonder what leads to Ayra gutting Littlefinger like a fish
Do you reckon it'll be because he's fingering her, and can't reach her Gspot. So she'll be like "f*ck your name is actually literal"Last edited by JizzShooter; 08-23-2017 at 12:17 AM.

This is what was really going on when Viserion was killed.
Hope this helps clear things up!

Something worth mentioning regarding the Night King to clarify any early misconceptions - as well as a mistake I also made typing, the Night's King is a Lord Commander during the early years of the Night's Watch after The Long Night. He found a female White Walker, brought her back past the Wall, named himself the Night's King, and was eventually defeated by the Free Folk with help from House Stark.
The Night King was one of the early men who was converted by the Children of the Forest originally to serve as a weapon in their own war against men.
But I also bring him up because now that he has a dragon on his side, as a big if, but if Cersei is eventually forced to team up with Dany and Jon, I would bet those ballistae will play a part in trying to fight the ice dragon off. Although I think it could go either way about the ice dragon not being affected because he's undead, so pain isn't a factor. Another possibility, and holy hell do I hope it doesn't come down to this, is that all of those lines about Dany being at risk of getting struck by an arrow while riding Drogon ends up being what happens to the Night King if he ends up riding his new ice dragon.
Also wondering how Viserion's death will be handled by Dany, because there wasn't too much time to really dwell on it during the episode...
Another odd observation that is merely coincidental, but back-up White Walker also had a top-knot:
RIP Thoros.
Read that earlier, and here's the full statement from Variety:
“We were aware that timing was getting a little hazy,” Taylor told Variety. “We’ve got Gendry running back, ravens flying a certain distance, dragons having to fly back a certain distance…In terms of the emotional experience, [Jon and company] sort of spent one dark night on the island in terms of storytelling moments. We tried to hedge it a little bit with the eternal twilight up there north of The Wall. I think there was some effort to fudge the timeline a little bit by not declaring exactly how long we were there. I think that worked for some people, for other people it didn’t. They seemed to be very concerned about how fast a raven can fly but there’s a thing called plausible impossibilities, which is what you try to achieve, rather than impossible plausibilities. So I think we were straining plausibility a little bit, but I hope the story’s momentum carries over some of that stuff.”
“It’s cool that the show is so important to so many people that it’s being scrutinized so thoroughly,” he continued. “If the show was struggling, I’d be worried about those concerns, but the show seems to be doing pretty well so it’s OK to have people with those concerns.”
Make of it what you will, but I can't help but find the last line pretty much negates any of his justifications, regardless of how tenuous those already were. If anything, the momentum is what amplifies the interruption to the audience's suspension of disbelief because they went from unfolding the events within 10 relatively even episodes to 3 less, while also trying to wrap up some of the most longstanding threads in an arguably too condensed span. Furthermore, it was not the pacing alone that was the issue, but rather that heightened pace in conjunction with the neglect for the constraints of time that combine to make those nasty impossible plausibilities - and some of that could have been greatly alleviated through reframing the order of events as has been suggested by others.
All that notwithstanding, it's all a bit of a political response, and all of the blame doesn't rest squarely on the director:
“I understand the feeling about overall pacing,” says the director. “I do think they’re speeding things up as they head toward the finish line. And there were some things as a director I wish I had been able to linger on a little longer or play a little slower.
“But these guys have been driving this masterfully for quite a while, and they know what they’re doing.”
HBO wanted more than what D&D were going for, and two shorter seasons 7 and 8 are the compromise we got, or in other words, D&D wanted to end this bish in seven seasons. It's definitely not a budget issue from HBO's perspective since they originally wanted ten, and even adjusting for the increased CGI costs and actor raises, that would have still likely fallen within the 8 full season ballpark. .
Now personally? I think that 8 is enough, but they are cramming so much into each episode that probably the most appropriate metaphor is like a fine wine, certain individual plot points aren't getting the necessary time to breath. And for all the entertaining aspects of episode 6 in isolation, it was also a borderline alcohol enema, both in terms of the absolute headrush of plot beats stuffed into it, and the hazy logic that doesn't hold it all together.
It's also still good fun, but not in the same way where each season felt like a multi-player chess game, with all of these individual moves being made so as to allow time for the suspense to mount and the following monday, the theories would pour our and all of the minutia would be detailed. The idea of feature length episodes sounds awesome in theory, but in practice, this season has already shown that you cannot really achieve that same effect because there is no longer any "long con" when personal conflicts like those between Arya and Sansa only have a couple episodes to work out or Cersei's pregnancy is squeezed into a muffled sentence.
Sure it's all rather pedantic at the end of the day, but this is bloody it, dammit. What other dark, serious fantasy drama that isn't full-blown wizards and spells is there on the horizon until the GOT prequels? And with both HBO's budget and inhibitions for violence and gore? It's the end of an era, and that just makes me feel [more] hollow now...
Anyway, onto something a bit more funny regarding the behind the scenes of the zombie bear:
“We thought they’d be so excited to do a zombie bear,” Benioff says. Instead, the team said something to the effect of “oh my god, they’re serious about doing this f*cking zombie bear.”
Weiss remembers producer Bernie Caulfield and the VFX team telling them “in the nicest possible way, ‘f*ck you.’”
“‘We cannot afford a zombie polar bear,’” he recalls them saying. “This year made perfect sense that you could have one of these things out there, and we really put our four feet down and said goddamnit, we want a zombie polar bear.”
Yeah, the Maesters are kind of an interesting collection because they very much resemble the respected "scientific" communities from the days of old when they would scoff at the ideas of those before them, while also being to set in their own ways to accept conflicting, if not downright world-shattering concepts.
Wait until the White Walkers show up though...
Maesters =Scienceb*tches.
Seriously, they have the perfect medium to flesh out the backstory of these fascinating and important events, but fukkit, let's make Bran the creepy, aspie "Boy who Stares at Trees."
Euron gave me a similar reaction; here's the "next Joffrey/Ramsay,".... except he's only in, what, two bloody episodes?I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine
My dark grave awaits, my fate is revealed - But I'm not afraid to die

why are they rushing these last two seasons? why not have more episodes or more seasons? are they not making money or something or HBO is just tired of this chit?

after the 4th viewing of episode 6 i have to conclude its the worst episode of the entire series. Mainly because of how important this episode should have been and how miserably it was pulled off.
i keep hearing people, including IRL, go on about how awesome the episode was and i cant help but cringe. If all you care about is dragon cgi and ice zombies melting then i guess you should be pleased, but if you care even in the slightest about quality storytelling this episode was embarassing to GRRMs name.
id hate to get on D&D too much because they have nailed many huge moments time and time again but someone really chit the bed with this one. im rewatching the entire series as we speak and i would be hard pressed to find an episode even remotely as bad as this one.Certified 1200 ng/l T

If I were an actor I would be more interested in finishing GOT properly. How the fuk would they care about money.. they must be rich as fuk already??
I guess it depends on whether they actually enjoy seeing their work as finished products.. or if their job to them is akin to how everyone thinks male pronstars have awesome jobs but they pronstars themselves don't think it's that amazing.
