hey brahs figured id check in: gold and gold stocks have broken out due to my paid subscription I was prepared for this a month ago. gonna be a great year with GDX targetting $60 its gonna be like the first 7 months of 2016 all over again for the gold stocks im heavily leveraged in JNUG ( temp issues i know) and first majestic silver for my short term trades. will be looking to sell those when GDX hits $31 area then it will have its first real correction before REALLY taking off again. Looking to add to my uranium positions in the summer.

s&p: correction is over soon and next rally will be targeting 2500, ignore the bears this has lots more juice.

my outlook on trading and investing have totally changed. sentiment means everything fundamentals mean nothing. follow da technicals.

Really frustrated right now as can't seem to find a damn thing to buy. Sitting on top of too much cash in my IRA and want to pare back my DB and DE holdings a bit, making the problem even worse.

In recent news while Arem's life has been fairly calm there was an incident.

Met a great girl about 2 months back, decided to cut all the other girls off and actually invest in this chick (pretty as fuk, economics degree, moved back to US to take over dad's very successful business a couple weeks before I met her, deadlifts, fun, and motivated but still likes doing wifey things like cleaning my place and bringing me food, pays for 1/3 or so of date expenses, etc.)

Arem informs main hookup he's been hitting for the past 3 years or so that it's 100% done with as Arem needs to focus on new graduate degree and work. She doesn't believe me, claims there's a new girl, I deny, none of her business anyways.

Fast forward to Easter Sunday, take new girl out of town for date, wake up Monday with an email from main ex hookup with about 15 ninja pics of me and new girl walking around town, some freaky stalker chit (apparently her friend happened to also be at same place and took pics).

Tuesday after Easter, Arem is at work and chief economist is in his office discussing oil or some chit, ex hookup storms into his office and throws teddy bear he got her for V day at him and screams "Give this to your new FUKING WHORE" and storms out.

Meeting resumes.

But seriously, anyone have anything decent they're looking at as far as initiating a new long term position? I'm flat out of ideas.

My Vanguard portfolio is getting much better returns than Venom08's managed on TD, lol. GLD puts have been absolute chit with these fairly decent sell off (literally bought the the day before gold topped out and I'm down like 20% on them right now) and I've missed a good chunk of the bidu long play I've been eyeing.

It's not really a Trump market. Look at Europe and china. Europe is uncertain as hell, China has its own problems so they've all been declining as we've been rallying. Simply more foreign investors are abandoning their countries for the US which is seen as the only safe haven.
Key plays: Stay long US shares market
Short the EURO
US$ is king
Avoid foreign government bonds (especially emerging markets) as they're up to their heads in debt denominated in US$ and a rallying dollar combined with higher interest rates is going to make their ability to pay back their debt and interest on that debt very difficult.

There's going to come a time where gold, the dollar and the stock markets all rally in unison. It's strange to hear but as we enter these turbulent times, that's what will happen. People will lose faith in the government (just look at how splintered the democrat and republican parties have become) and we will see them also lose faith in central banks. They'll simply be shown through the crash and burn that no central body/bank/government can alter the economy and that lack of confidence in government (public sector) will force capital into the private sector. So gold will be seen as a hedge against the government once again and thus it'll rally. Stocks will rise because where else can anyone put their money and get returns, and the dollar will rise to unprecedented levels fueled in large part by the collapse of the Euro and European Union.

I wouldn't short EUR as a short or mid term option, France seems like they're not going to swing to the right, Germany doesn't either now. There isn't really anything except emerging details about Brexit (Which will probably damage GBP far more than the EUR in the short term) or the continuing ****e state of Southern Europe (nothing new there) to make it take a dive.

It was oversold back then and you didn't even have to look at a chart.

The way people were talking about the stock, man, wish I could do it again.

Every time you brought it up the ticker, they'd talk about e****, lines, valuation, etc. The trend reversal began a long time ago, just pissed AF i caught only like 10% of what I was supposed to catch on a position I've been watching for months.

edit: I closed all my gold shorts, $10 short of tgt on $GC_F of my original 1255, but option prices really are F'd and I don't think its worth holding anymore.

Only holding massive long position in BIDU.

As for adding ... I added EBAY and CMI for the market open on Monday. No regrets so far!
