If you aimed for the lower amount of 1lb a month you should be able to maintain the same leanness for a while providing you keep increasing in strength and work volume. Remember you will lose some definition near enough straight away but this will be water weight and muscle inflammation so don't be concerned. The first couple weeks your weight may go up quicker due to increase of water and muscle glycogen again this is expected during a bulk.
After the initial weight gain that is when you aim for a small caloric surplus (200-300 calories) that will ensure the minimal amount of fat is gained.
20% not much change from your previous pic fat wise.

It's me again, the baby shark guy.
Last post I was 5'7", 176 @ 13-14% by estimates given in this thread.
Today marks exactly 12 weeks of cutting.
Down to 158 lbs. 29.5" waist, 14.5" neck, 31" hip, 15 5/8" flexed arms, 22 5/8" flexed leg, 39" chest.
Took some pics this morning and yesterday, no pump, and curious what you guys think my bodyfat % is at.
One day I will take some pics in a cool spot like all my favorite influencers but for now, in front of the toaster is gonna have to do. Some are in the gym. I used to be >300lbs so that is why my lower stomach and chest seems a bit off, loose skin.Last edited by spilinga; 02-01-2020 at 04:50 AM.

Bodyfat Percentage
Hey, first post ever on Bb.com. Very confused as a new lifter within first 4 months of lifting. Been “cutting” from 180 pounds at a deficit for about a year. Trying to find maintenance now with high volume training and be clear on what to do moving forward. Can post more if need be.
Age : 20
Weight : 143 lbs
Height 5ft 5
3 photos on my body space! Any advice would be very much appreciated!

You you are fine to move to bulking I would spend a couple of weeks working out your new TDEE maintenance. I say a solid 15%.
I have you around 15-16%
Pick a solid balanced program and aim to add around 1lb a month if you plan to bulk. If you like high volume then have a look at the Viking Bare Bones Series:-

Updated body fat estimate please!
5ft 11.5", 77.6kg currently - https://imgur.com/a/sfrz7iT
Been cutting for 14 weeks now. Been aiming to lose at around 1% of bodyweight per week. For the first 7 weeks I somewhat undershot that and was loosing at around 0.7kg per week. Started off at 90.4kg, something above 22% bodyfat since the first set of photos didn't allow for a great estimate. After 7 weeks I had got down to 84.98kg, lost 10.7cm off of my waist and was estimated to be at around 21-22% bodyfat.
Since then I have dropped a further 7.4kg (overall loss of 12.9kg), and lost a further 10.9cm off of my waist (overall loss of 21.6cm). Despite all that, seems like my abs are still struggling to come in properly. To me its looking like another 7-10 weeks of cutting at this rate to get down to 70kg going forward and hopefullyyy that would do the trick. Haven't really lost any strength so far so I'm guessing I'm maintaining my muscle mass well, and have gotten stronger across the board on all my movements outside of my flat and dumbell bench press. Would like to get an updated body fat estimate to see how much I seem to have actually lost and how much more I need to lose ,to see if my calculations are on track here.Last edited by rsid97; 02-09-2020 at 01:20 AM.
