It took a little over two weeks for me to finally get it delivered. The item just set in their system showing unfulfilled for close to two weeks, then I got a shipping notification from FedEx. I got it delivered within a couple of days after receiving the shipping notice.

if you have the measurements that would be great. I sent them an email and asked- I may try to call then too. The video seems to show some extra room with the Hex, but still hard to determine.
the urethanes do seem a bit bigger looking at this rep video comparison.

here are some American Barbell dumbbells

Glad they were honest with you. I just took measurements and was getting ready to post them. The outside measurement for each holder is 4.5" across. The top part of the holder to the bottom part is 6" from the topmost holder to the one below it. It seems to increase by about .5" in each drop. I had a procedure done on Friday and I'm restricted to not lifting anything above 10lbs for the rest of this week or I'd of tried to rearrange mine with bigger dumbbells to see if they would fit. The Urethanes do look considerably taller than their hex counterparts, so I can see where they wouldn't work with this style. Too bad, would have been a good space saving solution for you.

Yeah they got back to me pretty quick, also contacted Hoist about theirs. same issue. At least I know now not to bother looking any further into a vertical rack. Thanks for your help on this.

Nothing too exciting, but a decent price on axle bars here:

    https://gophersport.com/axle-bar-1

$30 for a 5', $40 for a rackable 7'. I ordered one of each, and combined shipping was all of $8 and change. I'm in a neighboring state, but they shipped the same day I ordered, and I received them the next day, which is pretty hard to beat.

I'm in the process of "upgrading" my cast iron hex dumbbells to the Cap rubber coated hex dumbbells. Not sure how much of an upgrade it is vs me just wanting a full set of matching dumbbells.
My PlateMates no longer work due to the rubber coating. I bought a set of the MicroGainz 1.25lb plates to fill in the 2.5lb increments. They fit nicely and snug agains the end of the heads. The Cap dumbbells have that little lip at the end of the thin part of the ergonomic handle and they clip firmly on those. They work nicely. I plan to get all the 5lb dumbbells on this set up to 100lbs so I won't need the 2.5lb plates to hit the 5s like I did for my PlateMates. So far I'm happy, they clip on and off very quickly.

I have smallish hands and you can see that the plates are touching my hands, not a big deal on the light weight dumbbells, but I'm not sure I'd like them on heavier ones.

finally found a vertical rack to hold urethane dumbbells. Its from hampton. Its pricey though. but says it will hold up to 75lb dumbbells. Also contacted hampton and they verify and show it fits their urethane round dumbbells.

Good deal, glad you found a solution!
I had a Hampton 8 pair vertical holder and sold it a few years ago. It was a tank, very well made.
I really like the design on the one you're getting. You'll like not having to awkwardly reach around the sides to grab the dumbbells, especially the heavier ones. Having them side by side like that is ideal. If that wasn't $600 I'd switch out my new one I just got.

Quick update on the Signature Series hip thrust. So I don't usually follow the advice of social media influencers but I saw one using a band across their kness to encourage more glute activation. So I got online and ordered a Mark Bell Hip circle band to see if it actually made a difference. HOLY COW, without a doubt the band resistance made the movement better and I've never felt glute activation like that before (no homo). Overall really liking this machine, even though the belt frayed initially it's still holding up, for $260 shipped after selling the belt squat attachment I feel like I stole this thing.

Interesting, I'll have to try the hip circle.

My belt also started fraying, but not at a critical point, and doesn't appear to be progressing. If it ever goes I'm planning to grab the Spud Inc hip drive belt (or if it goes on sale I'm just going to pull the trigger). Not the most refined machine, but for what we paid nothing else comes close, and I really like using it.

Years ago people on this forum were talking up the Hip Circle. That's rare so I ordered one. Love it ever sense and it's always in/out of rotation. Get a decently strong one if you are a lifter (not sure what I have, it's red and old - maybe original). You can do a lot of movements but really bodyweight squats pushing the knees out is KING. Really helps. I use it as part of my warm ups a few times a week.

I have the "normal" blue one. I use it for warming up sometimes, but never during actual lifts. Worth trying out, though.

I have been using a Hoist 1/2 rack doing the All Pro Beginners Routine. I'm right at the edge of graduating and the weights are getting heavy enough I'm scared of not being able to easily dump so I finally ordered a proper cage with storage options and safety arms, belts, and spotter arms etc.

Been virtually building 3x3 49" racks online for weeks trying to decide - from Rogue and Rep and Bells of Steel - and finally thought I had decided but then....

...I looked at 3x3 racks in real life at a local store and they were all so clunky and huge! Surprisingly I fell in love with a smaller Ironax XPX and ordered one. I'm so excited! Now I don't have to be afraid of dying on a squat anymore. I wonder if the danger was helping me dig deep to get back up with no other option except to lift lol.

I'm not sure what program I will do after graduating but I do know in researching those I needed something safer to lift alone.

I almost have the post count to attach images - so I will be back to post when I do!

I am also not a big fan of the 3x3 or 75x75mm standards. It's overkill for the vast majority of lifters making everything heavier and more annoying to use than it needs to be. But one issue with something like the Ironax is that you had better buy all the accessories you think you will ever need up front because there's a good chance you won't be able to buy anything for it ten years from now. Companies don't usually make different sizes because they believe it's better. They do it so you have to buy everything from them.

    To each their own, but...

After loads of research I finally went with a Titan X-3 short squat stand and safety spotter arms. I'm glad I did. I love the confidence I can have that I'll never in a million years exceed that stand's capabilities. Yeah, it's a beast. True: It's highly unlikely I'd ever exceed either a 2x3 or 2x2 stand, either, but I know I'll never exceed this one's.

Failed a squat just a few days ago. Don't know where I went wrong[*], but about the time I tried to get out of the hole I realized something had gone seriously awry and trying to get back up, if I even could get back up, might well result in injury. Normally, if I fail a squat, it's just sit back down till the bar's on the safeties, lean forward, and I'm out. I literally collapsed and, after the bar was down, clumsily pitched forward out from under it. It was really ugly. Bar ended up unevenly on the safeties--with one side of the bar all the way out at the very end of the safety that side.

Nothing moved so much as a silly little millimeter.

[*] I suspect I tried to sit too far back at the bottom.

Agree on the size thing, and on attachments. I bought most everything so I should be set. Plus, it's a standard 2.3" x 2.3" with 5/8 holes - should be able to put on any 2.3" stuff from Bells of Steel, Titan, Rep, etc. etc.

Let's see if I can figure out images!

What I am coming from, and decided to keep as my son still uses the preacher and leg curl/extension attachments of the hoist bench:

The rack I ordered - should be here end of this week! I got the belt safeties, spotter arms, flip in safeties, extra j-hooks, flat bench, bar holder, storage, and a shelf (not pictured) on the storage to hold collars, straps etc.

I'm still on the fence with straps like those, ever since that video of the Titan ones getting blown out.

Looks like a nice rack though, those j-hooks look suspiciously like Rogue's Monsters.

I see a lot of people using straps that are set too low. Because of the sag when the ends are low enough to stay out of the way the center can be too low to to their job.

Fabric degrades over time and knurling can also damage them. How many times can they catch a bar before they should be replaced? Nobody knows. I would never trust them.

This is a nice space saver for an item (dumbbell set) which is usually set up as a space hog. Doesn't take up much more room than my Powerblocks. That said, I don't think I can fit this, my gym isn't cramped but that's merely due to a painstakingly thought out layout. My free wall space is used up unless I relocate all cardio (rower and treadmill) somewhere else like garage where I have my sled.

I ordered the flip down safeties - straps freak me out but were included and couldn't remove them. I like to set safeties just so, so I don't hit them in range of motion, but they are right there if I need to set down or they need to catch stuff. Straps have too much play to do that, especially benching or something I watched videos how to fail a bench with straps and it required too much work of me pushing the bar to my neck area and holding it there and sliding out - not for me.
