I kept seeing how so many forum members here and over at AM kept praising
this flavor and I knew I probably missing out on something really good. I'm a
big mint fan so this year when PES brought this flavor back I made sure to
jump on a couple of containers and after going through one container I'm glad
I DIDN'T miss out on this flavor this year.

Ingredients:
Ultra Premium Protein Blend (Milk Protein Isolate, [comprised of casein protein, and whey protein], Whey Protein Concentrate 80%, Leucine Peptides), Sodium Chloride, Natural And Artificial Flavors, Guar Gum, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium,
Ingredient Profile- Excellent as I've started in other PES protein reviews and you really get
the best of two very good quality proteins with not much else except added Leucine, flavoring,
thickeners, and sweeteners to round out this profile.
Mix Ability- Where a few of the past flavors had a couple of particles floating which
wasn't a big issue this one mixed up smoother than all the other flavors but it foamed
up more than the others but the foaming didn't effect the flavor and it did settle a little
if you let sit for a minute.
Taste- I experimented with different amounts of water but from past experience Select flavors
are VERY sweet so a little more water is always better and I started with 8oz, 9oz, and 10oz
where the 10oz was the perfect amount to get the right balance of sweet white choc and that
OHH so delicious mint flavor. I know from the PES reps who were posting about this flavor being
reintroduced this year that the mint flavor was toned down a little. I didn't taste last years version
so I can't how much it was toned down but from my experience with it this year I think they have
a TRUE winner here and no need to tinker with it next when I'm sure it will be back again.
I love this flavor in a shake but when I had my first one I was thinking this isn't better than regular
choc mint but after having it a few times as a shake and getting the right amount of water I was
loving it and it also works fantastic in overnight proats, mixed with yogurt, cottage cheese, and
in recipes.
Overall- Just like I mentioned above I think PES did a stellar job on the flavoring with this one
and for me it ranks right up there with my two favorite Select flavors Blondie and Frosted Choc
Cupcake. If your a mint fan and you haven't experienced this flavor yet from PES I highly think
and recommend you jump on it the next time this flavor becomes available so you too can enjoy
a unique and delicious flavor experience that only comes around for a short time in the year.
