meant to mention that yesterday while running fiochi 230gr fmj .45 acp through my glock i had a failure to go into battery, the slide stopped about .1875" before it should have. never any issued with magtech or american eagle. about 400 rounds of magtech through it with 0 issues, and over 500 federal america eagle without a single malf, within the first 50 rounds of fiochi it had one. just a heads of for my dudes hout there shooting .45. discussed this with by bro and p much figured the fiochi is prob just a little downloaded/underpowered. experienced the same problem with polyformance .45 230gr fmj.

as an aside, i had 0 malf's in my 1911 with the same amm, it also cycled fine with the federal premium HST 230gr JHP. first trip out, about 75 rounds through it so far no hiccups. well see about this notorious unreliability of the 1911 in the next few months, prob try and 1k rounds before cleaning and hope for no probs.

I can see their reasoning of not wanting to lose some $$$, but if they would of honored their mistake I probably would have bought from Midway for all my future ammo needs. It's not like they were giving it away, they were probably just going to break even or lose a few dollars. Definitely wasn't going to break their bank.

Might just buy the same lot again without a discount. $.32/round is about as cheap as you can get anyways.

You came to mind when I saw the story, Farles. On fox's mainpage the 3 shot & killed are referred to as "robbers." The link and the title when you click on the link calls them "burglars." I'm now confused.
