Red face is keto actually healthy? and meal plan critique.

I have been doing some research on and watching joe rogan talk about it, but is it actually healthier for you? this is what im eating as well, i think im hitting everything tell me if i should be eating other stuff for micronutrients, etc.

    breakfast
1 scoop of whey protien- 120 calories 24g protein 3g carbs 1.5g fat
2 tbsp of peanut butter- 210 calories 16g fat 4g carbs 9g protein
    8oz of whole milk- 150 calories 8g fat 6g carb 13g protein

    lunch
alot of spinach and a decent amount of kale idk about the calories and all of that but i figure i would be getting a decent amount of micronutrients from this.
    4 tbsp of ranch-340 calories 38g fat 2g carb 0g protein
1 tbsp olive oil- 120 calories 14g fat
1 scoop of whey protien- 120 calories 24g protein 3g carbs 1.5g fat
2 tbsp of peanut butter- 210 calories 16g fat 4g carbs 9g protein
    8oz of whole milk- 150 calories 8g fat 6g carb 13g protein
    4oz of chicken -110 calories 25g protein
    dinner
    8oz salmon- 415 calories 24g fat 0g carb 45g protein
8 slices of bacon- 240 calories 20g fat 16g protein
2 slices of cheese- 180 calories 14g fat 10g protein

my macros are slightly off but im not sure if it is a big deal, i am not doing this for losing weight i just figured i would try to do it for the health benefits. Now for TKD, when you eat the pre workout carbs, is that your carbs for the day or just an extra 25-50g you can consume preworkout?

I might be a bit unpopular here, but we'll see how this goes.

To answer if it's healthy: from my research, yes and no. Short-term, it's great for weight loss, but I personally wouldn't recommend it. There's a lot of reading you can do on the positives and negatives, I would suggest you do some and consult a doctor. If you want to go for it, then do it, see how your body responds. If you find it's detrimental, stop. If you deal well with it, then continue on with it.

Looks like your protein intake is very high while fat is low. Also fiber is probably too low.

    like whats your ratio's at?

but I'd have to agree looks like your prot probably a bit high just try to keep it to the 65-70% fat/20-25%prot/30g of carbs is what I've found the sweet spot at. most people have a hard time fitting in protein powders to stay in their ratio's on keto...you should be getting your prot from fatty meats like 70/30ground beef/steaks/chicken wings or drumsticks/salmon/spam/eggs/avacado's.

make sure to get in your salt/potassium/magnesium to

according to the %'s the proteins and fats are around the same for some reason. it says for 65% of fat is 173g and 180g for 30% protein. Would you guys be able to clarify the pre workout carb situation? would those be your total carbs for the entire day you want to cosume pre workout or can you throw in an extra 25ish for it?

why do you say no though? has it really been proven to not be bad for you in the sense that it won't clog your arteries and **** and all of that was just some B.S. made up for some whatever reason?

If you're carb cycling then go for it. On keto, I don't. However, you can time your carbs were you take in 1/2 your carbs in your preworkout meal if ya want. You'll have to play around with it and see what works for you.

Keto diet is the best thing on earth dude.

    The High Fat increase Testosterone.

The Low Carb Increase Growth Hormone.

This aid in Fatloss and Muscle gains.

BUT DUDE YOU NEED TO EAT WHOLE EGGS. Eat like 6 Whole eggs Everyday, Dont go without a day without eating at least 6 whole eggs.

You need Saturated Fat when your keto and Fat. Fat isnt the enemy. Its actually Beneficial.

For me if i dont eat Enough Saturated fat, i can defenetly Feel a difference in mood and well being.

Whole eggs is the best Protein Source on this Earth, Nothing compare to Whole eggs!

Ditch the Milk too much sugar.

In the upcoming months im going to Actually Test Something out.

Im going to Drink 12 whole Raw Eggs everyday for 2 weeks.

    ^^ Most of this...

The 12 whole eggs a day thing I am already gagging a bit. Too much for me!!! As to the health benefits all that he said and I would add in the benefits about glucose levels, blood pressure, and cholesterol. I've also found the same as most others who report about mood stabilization and increased mental acuity. This being said, my wife tried and and found it to not work for her at all. She put in the effort but ultimately never felt right when on it. So I think that this is not for everyone but it's worth trying and seeing how you respond.
Tomorrow is no place to place your better days.
