Question Saunas, Steam Rooms, and building mass

By this point I am very familiar with the benefits of a deep sweat that accompanies things like saunas and steam rooms. However, obviously, one of these benefits is burning calories and ultimately losing weight. I am about 6''6, 220 and lift almost exclusively for bulk and to gain muscle mass. When I first found out about steam rooms and saunas I fell in love, and for awhile I sat in a steam room for 20 mins in the morning before my workout, and the sauna 10 mins after my workout. It felt great, but I began to notice I was not producing as much results in the gym, my strength didn't really diminish but I did notice I was not gaining any weight or mass whatsoever, despite maintaining the same diet and lifting habits.

My question is this. If I'm training for bulk, should I completely avoid saunas and steams, or is there a way I can utilize them in a healthy way that doesnt impede my progress?

Utilizing the sauna has a plethora of health benefits if the using the right temperatures. If you found you weren't gaining weight, you simply need to eat more.
