I'm a guy...but i'm a big Peak Fitness fan. Favorite gym is the one on 51 but I live close to downtown so I normally go to the Morehead location.

The one @ 51 is just layed out perfect, Morehead you got the whole free weight area on the opposite side as the bathroom. Ab section and calf section is over by the bathroom too. I sometimes like to superset my ab and calf work in with my main workout so its annoying walking all across the gym and by the time u get back someone will take your spot!

I've been to the one on S. Tryon, thats prob my least favorite of the three. How are the University and Concord locations?

BTW, your abs are impressive. I've never seen you at the S. Tryon gym but i haven't been there for about 2 months. I'm working on getting that lean.

Live in Kernersville, work in Winston-Salem & Charlotte (when I'm not working from home), go to the Kernersville Y. ride my bicycle out through Lexington sometimes. I've done the Tour de Pig a couple times and the Tour to Tanglewood 5 times. Good fun rides.

Hey, parrishkr, I saw you're doing a Bike MS event. Good luck! The Tour to Tanglewood is a Bike MS event also. It's a lot of fun, very well organized and it's great to meet all the other cyclists.

There are plenty of big guys that train at peak.i work at peak.the one at university has alot of big guys in it.ty is one of them.i would def say bigger then jeff long and only 22 years old.johnny stewart comes into my gym quite frequently when hes not in his own gym.greg jones also trains and works at my gym.hes national about to go pro.peak is the **** but i pearsonally like golds gym.but if you live in nc then peak is def the place to go

yes Charlotte area seems to have many gyms but in the Raleigh area it is hard to find recnetly especially for me with competitive powerlifting and need partners to help bput bench shirts on and need spotters with heavy bench and squatting.

originally from the gastonia/ranlo/dallas area. ended up moving to apex/cary to get my daughter closer to duke about 2 yrs ago. I now work out at Peak in cary at macgregor. its the only one i could find for little money that was also open 24 hrs. needed that because my job requires very random hrs. if anyone happens to know About abetter 24 hr gym up here, please inform.

I train at peak in Raleigh area and would meet you in Cary I work in durham and have 1 client there as well,
but there are a couple of 24 hr gyms in Raleigh area I now about,
I am a trainer and used to have clients at a gym called workout anytime but they were sold and changed the name nobody lifts real heavy there though when I was there.
