Powders are just easy macros, nothing special. Your overall diet is what will determine success not magic in a jug which doesn't exist. Have you put together your diet for this program? If so, what does it look like?
Your nutrition and workout program determines your success.

Ano powders not a magic potion but I know it helps with growth and also muscle recovery. I know myself am a noon to this but need to start somewhere

My personal advice, which may be a lot different from other people on here. Stick to a good creatine, there's plenty of options out there. There's no need to load it however! And just have a clean diet of like say, Kale, Beets, and clean proteins (whether vegetable or meat depending on what you want). Creatine is cheap in bulk and theres many great brands that sell it. Again, just my advice though.

There are a lot of good choices out there.
Provided your nutrition is good and your training is on par, not a bad idea to pick up some protein to meet your needs in which you not through whole food.
TRUE GRIT: PROTEIN is Micellar (fast and slow digesting), fully disclosed and ZERO fillers. Good Luck!

A big part of this is getting serious about setting up a generic calorie goal, protein minimum and fat minimum. If you don't take 1 hour to do some basic work, hundreds of hours of cooking, and training are hanging in the balance.
As for scoops. A lot of that is up to the taste buds of the user. Buying smaller tubs, especially if you can find a sale from reputable brands will give you a few to try and see what you like. Lots of companies run buy one get one half off or the like on 2 pound tubs. It's always tempting to get a better deal buying a bigger tub, but just because I like something does not mean you will. Having 5 pounds of something you really dislike around can be more expensive if you have to toss it.The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

Powder itself will not make you fat, your overall diet will make you fat. As long as you consume less calories than you burn then you will not get fat. I would not strive for the fantasy of losing fat while putting on muscle as the two goals counteract each other. You need excess food to gain muscle while you need a shortage of food to lose weight. It is possible, but you really have to know your body and have your nutrition hammered down.

Great deal available for BPI protein. Whey-HD offers such flavors like Strawberry Cake, Banana Marshmallow Pie, and Peanut Butter Ice Cream Bar. Check it out if you're looking to stock up.
What the other members said above is correct about your diet determining fat loss. You must be in a caloric deficit to lose fat. Protein powders and nice and convenient if on the go or wanting a quick snack to hold you over.Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

Protein powders will not make you fat (unless buying a gainer) or going over your daily calories.
