I give each muscle group 48-72 hours of rest...most of the time 48. Is this enough? Considering I get good sleep. I eat 3000 cals minimum a day and get around 150g of protein a day. I'm 17, 6'2 190 lb

If you do 40 sets, no it's not. If you do 1 set, it's more than enough.
The question is if your total workload is well balanced in relation to your needs and recovery capabilities. You should be training hard enough to require deloads, but you shouldn't be training so hard that you need one after 3 weeks of training, (generally). IMO 6 weeks is quite a good balance of, 'Ok, now I need to deload because I'm pretty beat.' If you're training with a volume that puts 48-72 hrs rest as appropriate, then you're doing something right, though.'People are gonna remember me as a god forever...
