Ever since i was 6 years old i have always been above 200lbs
About 3 years ago i was 180lbs lean, but it took an incredible amount of work and my life was miserable, i was eating 2 chicken breast, two slices of bread, and 2 cups of chocolate milk a day which is literally nothing, and that was to maintain my weight, on top of that i was running 2 miles everyday and going to the gym 2 hours everyday
I took a 2 year break (still going to the gym but half assing it) and been lifting hard for about 2 months, but the scale is stuck at 250lbs
90% of the time my day consists of
1/2 lb of ground beef a day (400 cals)
2 cups of rice (400 cals)
2 scoops of protein (300 cals)
And some sort of cheat snack thats less than 300 calories
I know for sure im under 2000 calories roughly
Im stronger than i have ever been and i can do things now that i couldnt when i was 180lbs
I can do pullups, sprints, push ups, i can even do a bunch of ab exercises on the pullup bar i couldnt do at 180lbs
What gives? What can be done?

Simply cannot lose weight, is that normal?
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.
-I'd rather live life saying "I failed" than "I could have"

You need to add 5 or 6 cups of veggies and some fruit.
If it were me, I'd bump up total calorie intake to around 2,500 calories.
You may also want to get your thyroid checked along with some bloodwork. If you've always been overweight you might have some kind of underlying issue.
When a man your size eats less than 2,000 calories for a long time it will cause your body think it is being starved.

The harsh truth is I don't think your putting in the work! Start weighing and tracking everything you eat (everything means oils, toppings, fruit, veg etc...) Nothing goes in without been tracked. There is a chance you could hav a medical condition 9thyroid problems,etc..) but Id imagine uv had this checked out and if not do. If your cleared medically just commit 100% on your diet and don't drop calories too low

Maybe your protein is too high. I read that even protein can turn to fat, your body can only absorb so much at a time, for instance you have two scoops of protein powder that's like 60 grams, plus ground beef. Maybe just have the beef, then have one scoop of protein powder later in the day. Just a thought anyways.
