I feel like the misc is still great, it's just slowed a little. I also don't think any perceived loss of quality is due to the minority of non-lifters here.

It has been a rough year for the world, we just went through possibly the worst election year ever with quite a few major tragedies. Also we just went through fall and the holiday season which is when most hobbyists loosen their belt a little and maybe aren't taking nutrition and training as seriously which would lead to a lack of posts about those topics.

About 6 years ago I started lifting. I was obese and lacked self-esteem. I flailed around in the gym for a couple years before I came to bb.com. I read the nutrition section and the exercise section and I dialed my chit in.

Finally I found the misc, which provided inspiration. You guys are a bunch of sick kunts and I feel like I owe a debt of gratitude to this place for helping me change my life.

The misc is still great and I might be optimistic but I think it will get even better.

Have an avi but don't look like I lift crew. I've been 25 lbs heavier than in my avi though but injured my bicep tendon last year when i was making the best gains in my life and haven't gotten around to fixing it. I hate not lifting srs
