why are these *******s even here? misc does stand for miscellaneous yeh, but it's miscellaneous for people who lift.
you can usually spot these non lifting cretins irl straight away, but on the misc, they can easily take on any form and talk among us, this is the damaging part. their post should automatically be deleted because of their non lifting status, but no one is governing this.
the difference between old misc and new misc is now the new misc has a majority of non lifting swine. it's like flooding a country with refugees and the original population ultimately become a minority, the country loses everything that made it unique.
the misc has lost it's value, because now it isn't mainly lifting bros from all walks of life (tradie, stems, baldcels, chads etc) sharing their stories, it's now just another run of the mill chit posting fest with low iq low test non lifting *******s clogging up the boards.

The Reddit trash on here poisons this place because by lifting youre doing something to improve yourself and your situation. They want to validate their stagnant, invisible, useless, unambitious existence so they come on here and try to tear down anyone trying to move forward, and any activity that creates progress in another persons life. Because this is easy. Its easy to pretend that youre not a loser by your own choices. That this must all be genetics and society and beyond your control. Tell people they have to be a millionaire or born with a face for modeling. Then they run into someone like me who went from 120 pounds to 175 and completely changed their life and its like listening to some whiny kid complaining that the sky isnt blue its actually another color.

My question is why do people post on a bodybuilding website if they don't even lift or try to convince others not to. Makes no sense. Occasionally there will be a thread about lifting, nutrition or recovering from injuries and it is clear that there are people on here with a wealth of insightful knowledge. But I understand why they don't post about it often because all that useful info gets buried under piles of garbage threads about being forever alone, why even lift, etc.

Maybe I'm too optimistic or naive or whatever
But I actually think the majority here still lift despite all the fun jokes made about no one lifting"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

But do I have to look like I lift, or just actually lift?
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.
