i have talked to enough people that go to the arnold, that unequivically, without a doubt, pros are shorter than they are listed....knowing this, it follows that they are not as heavy as they say they are or are listed.
2. people need to face the facts that 5'8-5'10 is the ideal frame for bodybuilding

I just did like 30 minutes of reading on this....Arnie has, according to reports, shrunk about an inch from his previous 6"1 and some change to about 6 feet even. That looks about right with him around 3.5 inchs shorter than the Rock in the pics. The Rock is a legit 6"3-4 I mean nowone doubts that. He has some height to him. And he isnt 5 inchs or even 4 inchs taller than Arnie in the pic more like 3...perhaps 3.5 inchs at most.

It may be because they were beaten up when they were younger but i know i started bodybuilding because i wanted to be wider if i was not going to be taller, i think thats why a lot of short guys start lifting also shorter guys tend to see results faster because they don't have to fill a taller frame out so they are more likely to stick with it. Also if your tall and skinny you tend to be not as strong so you will be more intimidated by the weights and less likely to stick with it. The reason i say this is because I've had some tall friends and tried to encourage then to train but they always seem to be embarrassed cuz they can't lift as much.

Considering the average white American guy is 5'10" 1/2, I don't see how most bodybuilders ranging from 5'7" to 6'0 are short. They're average, for the most part, but look shorter because they're so wide, and because people expect them to be giants or something in real life.
Sly Stallone is only 5'8" 1/2 and Arnold has been repeatedly put at 5'10 1/2 to 5'11" in person, but on the big screen they look as tall as Michael Jordan from some angles.
