And rodgers still carved up that defense without his #1 WR. Cowboys secondary is pretty solid, but its not at the same level as the Giants, even without DRC.
Also, the packers O line is arguably the best pass blocking unit in the league. And rodgers has insane stats vs the blitz and out of the pocket, so by all means make him run for life.

I hardly call Jordy Nelson a #1 WR this season. He never got back to his original form. Both Dallas and Green Bay suck at pass defense but the Packers are worse being 31 out of 32. Last time they dared Dak to beat them and he did it without Dez Bryant. Zeke rushed over 150 yards. Dallas has the #1 rushing defense so that little rush game the Packers have just went down the chitter. Rodgers is going to have to have 50 passing attempts and the Cowboys will plan for mostly a passing offense. Oh and their O-line is gonna get wrecked. Just watch.

Aaron Rogers being hot is all well and good, but when you only get the ball 3 or 4 times in a half (because of Dallas Ball Control) it puts a TON of pressure on GB to score.
Having Dez back for Dallas is huge. If GB wants to stop Zeke, they're gonna need major help from Safeties, and then Dez, T-Will, Beasley and Witten will carve them up. You DO know that the GB secondary is trash, right?
And that Dallas line? Can you imagine how fresh Elliott will be? He's gonna be blastin' dudes. He chewed up up for 157 yds IN GB last time. What do you think he'll do now at home?
The only way GB wins is if Dallas beats themselves with penalties, turnovers and drops. It could happen - I've been watching football long enough to know that - but it's not likely.
The more likely scenario is that Zeke rumbles for 150+ and a TD, Dak gets two TD passes, and runs one in as well. Dallas wins 31-20.- US Air Force Veteran Crew

You do realize that Nelson had over 1200 yards receiving (in an offense that also had another receiver with nearly 1000 yards in Adams) and led the entire league in TDs? Nelson over the first 6ish games was mediocre, but the last half of the season he was back to form. You must not watch many packers games, or even read stats for that matter.

my same reaction lol. even without nelson Cobb and Adams are solid route runners and can make corners look silly on man coverage defenses, hopefully they'll have good safety help. Im going GB by ten, those doubting rodgers are insane dude is killing teams right now 22 TDs and 0 picks the last 7-8 games? he's on a mission

It's the playoffs.
You really gonna put all that faith in a rookie QB, against one of the best QB' of the era?
Sounds smart to maybe, maybe since you're so confident show us all how much money you put on it too.The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

I think the Cowboys will win, but it could go either way. Just lol at the idiots in this topic though.
Jordy not a #1 this year...congrats on being too dumb for even the sports misc
Cowboys fans forgetting the packers had 4 turnovers that game and it was still a ball game until the 4th quarter
"if cowboys have the ball for 40 minutes when will the packers score"...uhhh if the Cowboys score you do realize they give the ball back to the packers offense right? You can't score twice in one possession. Sports casters overstate TOP, it is important, but it's not like the packers can't score right after the Cowboys run off 10 minutes.
Again I think the Cowboys will win, but most people in here are delusional*Only drive manual crew*

TOP will stop their **** tier secondary from being on the field for so long. You want Rodgers on the sideline, not on the field. The gameplan should be to stop Elliot and force Dak to win the game. You do that and you'll have a chance. Allowing him to run all over you( like last time) and pick up first downs to extend drives( which may lead to scores) will hurt severely. Elliot is the key, not dak or Bryant or anyone else.

I don't think you can dismiss the "it" factor. There's something goin' on in Big D, something special. (Somebody start humming Glory Glory Hallelujuh quietly in the background, increasing in volume until you're loud at the end)
I've watched 'em since the late 70s and there's only been one other time I've seen this kind of team, with this much youth, momentum, excitement, and magic. That was in the early 90s. It's like they know they're better than everybody thinks they are. There's no baggage from the previous eras, that old culture, divided locker rooms, etc...
This renaissance actually started in 2014, but got derailed for a year with injuries. It took on a whole new level with this year's remarkable draft. Dak may be a rookie, but he's unlike any rookie QB I've ever seen. Statics say he's had the greatest rookie year of any QB ever. Even in preseason, his demeanor was the biggest thing - never, ever, not once, looked rattled.
And it's not like it's his 1rd start. He's got 16 games under his belt, and 4 INTs to show for it. Technically, he has a whole season behind him, that makes him no longer a rookie. Just cause this game has the name Playoff, instead of Regular Season, do you suddenly think he's going to become a normal, deer-in-the-headlights rookie? I supposed it's possible, but he (and the whole team, really) has surpassed expectations at every turn.
Dallas has suffered for years with the old culture, but now they're too young and dumb to know any better. It's all systems GO and like I said before: Unless they kill themselves with turnovers, drops and penalties, I don't think they lose.

Yeah he happened to go HAM on us the first game.. i guess i shouldnt have worded that like I did
Zeke will get his, but I'm not worried about it. They are going to need a solid passing game to take us out
Imagine how demoralizing its gonna be for them when zeke take 8 carries in a drive and dak grinds out 5 dink and dunks to grind out a TD, then GOATgers just tosses a couple balls like he's playing schoolyard football and they score in about a minute

Packer brah here...I watched the starters on offense and defense on a 15-1 packer team in 2011 take off week 17, have the first round bye, and go into the divisional round without having played for 3 weeks (just like these cowboys now). We got matched up with a 9-7 giants team who caught fire at the end of the season and made it into the dance.
We had beaten the giants in new york earlier in the season (just like the cowboys did vs the packers this year). We were better on paper at nearly every position with aaron fkin rodgers who was playing out of his fking mind that season. I watched all the analysts, and fellow packers fans (including myself) say the giants had no chance in hell to win this. It was supposed to be a blow out. Everybody kept saying we beat them at their house, theres no way they will beat us at Lambeau.
Guess what happened? A 37-20 nightmare loss for the leagues best team in their own house. Who dealt that loss to them? The team who caught fire and made it in to the post season. You are absolutely delusional if you think this 3 week layoff wont have some sort of an effect early on in this game with a rookie qb. Hes played great, but hes also looked human in several games this season. On paper the cowboys should win this game fairly easily, they are the overall better team, but they dont have the hottest QB, win or lose he is going to gut that cowboys secondary. He dropped 38 on seattle, 38 on the vikings, and now 38 on the giants, the 3 best defenses in the NFC. I would be fking horrified as a cowboys fan seeing this offense come to jerry world.
Seriously, what do you think is going to happen if gb wins the coin toss, scores a td, then dak throws a pick (gb btw picked off dak for his first interception this year, dont say it isnt possible). Gb scores another td off that turnover and its 14-0. If that scenario plays out, its a fking wrap.
