I went to georgia tech so my profile says Atlanta but I live in Dallas now. These days, I haven't really gone out too much.. more interested in making money and I also been playing videogames lol (PS4 and PC mainly, recently Switch). I left my job a month ago so I've just been chilling and it feels great. Had an interview with SMU cox business school last week so if I get in I'll be doing my MBA there and will be here for a while. Also have an interview with ******** today for a position based in Austin so if that happens there's a chance I'll move there instead. And yeah, ETH / BTC fanboys often butt heads, I used to think ETH was another alt coin when I started this thread but since then been convinced that it's gone above that status and is here to stay. I'm still anticipating, and kinda nervous, about a huge correction coming ahead for both ETH and BTC... but I want to see ETH at $300 and BTC at $4K before that happens. Or maybe the fall wont be as bad since a lot has changed from 2013

Im the same way with eth/btc i think bitcoin will go higher but im on the rocks with it. The scaling issues are problematic, as well as the backlog and fee situation. It seems like a lot of bitcoins volume is because of altcoin trading pairs and new fresh fiat jumping in because they have heard about or know what bitcoin is. I dont think 300/4k is a stretch by any means with this wild market. Im somewhat worried eth might get hit with some type of black swan or bitcoin will get their scaling addressed or something new might move in that could blow it out of the water like a big bitcoin bombshell that could get pushed through or something like that. Ethereum is very new, and it still doesnt have that volume or publicity that bitcoin has so it doesnt have all that going for it. There is also uncertainty in the normal stock market and people are looking to diversify and money is starting to flow in. Im really curious to see how this plays out because there are so many factors. Could eth/btc bleed over into each other? Could this alt coin **** just collapse on itself. Will the over leveraging and whale tactics bring in regulation? Its all very exciting and scary. Im an ethereum maximalist so i dont hold anything other than maybe bat or whatever erc20 token that comes out that looks good. I need to put some in btc but im a little worried and also im unsure of the returns to risk/reward ratio, plus i would have to learn a lot more about bitcoin.

Also austin is pretty chitty, but if you are working for google it wont be so bad. My little brother and half brother live in austin and my little brother hates it, but he gets to yolo with his bros, and i occasionally visit to ride the skateparks there. I have lived in Texas all my life, and me and a ton of other texans and even the governor dont consider it texas lol. But yeah i live in the mid cities area and im down for whatever if i can make the time. I work weird night shifts and weird days. Im pretty interested in making money as well so i stopped playing videogames so much. Im a hardcore halo fan though and im starting to get into pc. What games do you play on pc btw? If you are in the area and want to go play pool or eat or hang out with some of my friends at the skatepark or anything like that just let me know. Im not really that awkward btw once im comfortable. Talk to strangers all the time it seems like lately. Just sold some car audio to a guy who just got out of prison today and he was pretty cool and nice, normally i would be extremely sketched out but i did it in a public place and didnt make it awkward and end up getting stabbed lol

You don't sound like a loser at all. For example when i turned 23 i was broke af and fresh out of college with like $30k student loans (negative net worth). Trust me you are waaaaayyyy ahead of most people in your age bracket. I can def relate with your observations of most people being chitty, untrustworthy, low-iq, etc. I been saving heavily for a house down-payment since then but i don't tell anyone close to me anything (for pretty much the same reasons you pointed out/losers will start asking for money).

Thanks for the kind words m8. Im not really sweating the virgin stuff that much either now that i think about it, but thats the only thing my friends sweat me on. Im kind of glad i havent lost it at this point, and hopefully it will allow me to find an even better quality girl. I wanted to bang out so many good looking women with nice limbal rings and canthal tilt and facial symmetry and i probably could do so somewhat easily now, but i rather not. Rather just have a quality girl and hopefully i prepare myself in some way to not get taken to the cleaners lol.

Did have a guy poach me for money just a bit ago selling me a sob story. Never seen or met the guy, and he wrote a really long post telling me how i was lucky and he will never have 100x returns yada yada yada, and it just looked really bad. It seems like his mind was in the wrong place and i could just pick it up easily, and he had bad motifs. I sent him a really long genuine post giving him advice and life advice and told him any wisdom i could leave him would be worth more than any amount of money i could ever give him and told him to send me his wallet address and i would surprise him. Told him i didnt have the time to research him either so i would just have to trust that hes doing the right thing and if not it would come full circle. He hasnt responed since. Was able to track him down as well, and i wasnt liking what i was seeing. Trust but verify. There are just a ton of really chitty people in this world. I really hate donating as well. I much rather donate my time. Gave a bum $5 one day and he asked if he could trade it for my $20 instead and i told him to fuk off and have never given to a bum since. They wont get cash from me anymore. They will either get food or haircuts or whatever. People can be really chitty and it sucks.

Can someone please explain to me how you typically hold your eth/btc, and then trade on exchanges?

Do you all store it in a hardware wallet, and then move it over to exchanges like poloniex when you want to trade it for another crypto? (is this free to do?) and then once you exchange it for another crypto, move said crypto into a wallet you have control over? (and rinse repeat when you want to trade that crypto back to eth/btc) ?
