Examples, how people who have never driven let alone own a luxury vehicles, such as BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, are quick to say without any legit proof except just retarded word of mouth, that they are not reliable and expensive to maitain, prone to break. They are also quick to hail their "indestructible" Toyotas.
Another example, people who hate on Apple computers and phones. They are quick to tell you how overpriced they are, and how the parts inside a PC and Mac are the same from China. How you cannot game or modify a mac. How you can buy a Windows laptop twice as powerful than a Mac for the same price. How you can build your own PC with $500, which would blow a iMac out of the water.

Please.
My family is big on Mercedes for whatever reason. I don't like them at all. Legit do not enjoy driving them and all their features just seem like a gimmick. Not to mention the engine feels like an asteroid hit it everytime it goes from 6 to 4 cylinders. And the seats are uncomfortable and the navigation sucks. A Toyota is legit more comfortable.
Everything you said about Apple computers is mostly true too. I paid $800 for my laptop which has twice the processing power of any mac, much more memory, actual USB ports which I use every day, an easier trackpad to use, a number pad which is handy, a much more comfortable keyboard and a much better screen. I didn't even build it, just ordered it from some site. I do love my iPhone though.
The things you listed aren't expensive things. Not many people can afford a brand new Porsche but you don't see a lot of people hating on them, because they're awesome cars. Not many people can afford a brand new Jaguar, but you see a lot of people hating on them because they're unreliable and expensive to maintain. People I know who own Jaguars and Range Rovers will tell you they love them but they break all the time and if they only could afford one car it would never be a Jag/RR."If in my say 80 years on earth I do more help than damage, then I feel complete."

^legit, alot of luxury cars have hardly any lateral legroom/ball-room in the front seats, what does that say about the drivers?
lmao OP at your second example, which is all true.

I don't hate on them, I flat out say I could never afford them. I could "afford" them, but they would tie up a stupid amount of my disposable income, and for what? Why would I spend 1300 on an apple computer when all I need is a 350 dollar computer?
If it don't make a dent, enjoy. If it makes a dent, you're an idiot

Fukk that noise, I'll stick with VW any day over Mercedes or Audi. Same engine as A4 and faster off the line, no delay at all. Test drove a Mercedes it drove like a truck
iPhone-have had them for years and dying to get away from them. Way too faking restrictive. Friend came over with his Galaxy and streamed a HD movie from phone to my TV, not a chance I could do that with an iPhone unless you get a piss poor quality apple TV. Dumbest thread I have ever read.

The real reason you should never buy anything because of what other people think and/or to make an impression. To real people who actually matter that you want to impress, they could care less and won't really notice, but to shallow superficial idiots it just strikes envy and jealousy.
OP was talking about how you'll have these Toyota drivers who will argue that their Camry is the same as a BMW/Mercedes are as ignorant and shallow as the guy with the BMW/Mercedes who thinks driving his Euro car makes him a greater person. No, a Camry is not the same as a 5 series BMW but as far as which one is better, they are too different to really argue that.

I dont hate on luxury cars either. I just think they are bad on insurance and maintanence. Insurance companies will scam the **** out of you if you drive a bmw or a benz. Not only that, they are expensive on maintanence, brb paying hundreds of dollars on oil change. Also, these luxury cars are also bad on gas. I would love to own a nice luxury car one day if I can afford it. I dont mind at all but whatever I have mentioned above is all true

Agree completely except your examples are poverty. Things like looks, profession, house, and high end sports cars absolutely this is true.
Apple vs android and lexus vs toyota (LOL) is a brand trap that only tradies care about.

I own a Benz C250 here.
But god dammit can't believe how much attention I get from homeless on the streets, like they keep asking you for $, or say ****s about you.
And yeah it is kinda expensive when you actually own the luxury cars like Benz or BMW, insurance is like $300 a month, plus all that maintence cost is a lot.
I don't think ppl hate, they just jealous maybe.
(but btw im jealous of ppl driving 458 or Vanquish, that is just insane man)Panthers, Raptors

I've driven brand new luxury cars for long periods and they are pointless. The difference between them and a new Camry is minute these days. It's not a big difference like how it was 20 years ago. All the features on luxury cars are on normal sedans now short of really random sh*t like cup holder coolers, electric headrest adjustment or a heated shifter knob. A Camry is just as smooth as a BMW, just as quiet, has basically all if not the same 'luxury' features' and drives just as fine. There's a very clear difference in cars like Rolls Royce, high end Mercs and stuff though but those are a whole other ball game. On top of that they break quite frequently ( short of Lexus usually ) and require very special tools, expertise and OBD computers.
For the price of an entry level luxury car, I'd rather get something that actually does have a difference compared to everything else. A sports car. A BMW 'luxury' sedan will have the novelty wear off in less than 6 months. A new Corvette, v8 Camaro or Mustang will always give you a smile on your face and make everyone giggle when you gas it on the onramp. Plus it'll retain value better. Only cucks buy luxury cars SRS. No excuse to waste money on one unless you are seriously ballin'.
Plus most luxury cars are leased trash that depreciate like hell anyways.

It's not just things they can't afford, but things the can't do or wouldn't do...It comes with cognitive dissonance and helps people resolve emotions of what would otherwise be loss or longing. For example, people who don't workout or smoke will try and treat joggers or gym-goers with disdain or cynicism, listing the reasons why they would not want to do it, justifying their current situation... Not an uncommon behaviour to list the reason why we don't or wouldn't do something when we've decided it's something we probably won't or cannot do, irrespective of the reasons.

I hate on german cars and apple products because 99% of the time people buy them only as status symbols.
I don't hate on other expensive cars or electronics, so your argument is invalid.Palestine supporters are the assorted scum of the earth
