As sad as it sounds, would be surprised if today's younger snowflake generation had even half of these skills. Honestly most of the 'what do' threads could be avoided if men were men these days and still knew how to do these things...the cucking is real
Keep up the good work if you can do 85% or greater on this list

Sounds mostly like a checklist for tradies
EDIT: I've got
- Understand how to use and maintain a rifle
- Throw a ball properly
- Basic understanding of World history, logic, science, and math
- Know how to apply a tourniquet (as well as first aid basics)
- Know how to manage money
- Give a proper handshake

- be able to bench your body weight for at least a few reps
- Be able to squat at least 225lbs
- Know how to work a map and compass
- know how to lead a relationship with your significant other
And some of those I only know because of the military. And are you kidding me with the map/compass requirement? Lol if you don't use the stars

Didn't read, but if "perform precision construction, maintainance and repairs in a hyperbaric environment" and "render safe UXO and IED devices in any environment" aren't on the list then it's not a real list boyo.

There is literally millions of systems supported by billions of people working around the clock to support your lifestyle...
But you don't rely on anything, coz youre a real man.
Actually looking at that list again, there is actually only one thing that would exist without said systems.Things are always as good or as bad as you think they're going to be

City yuppies will try and justify not knowng any of these things but as a big boy with a house, and vehicles, you better know how to do some basic sh!t down the road. Fuking basic life skills man...Habit is powerfull and custom can Kill.

That's what I'm saying. This is a pretty basic list IMO, that just 50 years ago pretty much all men were expected to know how to do, and do well. Not like I said "know how to rebuild a combustion engine" or "how to identify and disarm an IED" anything that would be tradie/military specific. This is just a basic list everyone should know...especially every man.

To be fair theres simply so many more services offered nowadays.
But the sheer amount of $$ guys will spend on basic stuff is retarded.
Brb 100$ oil change?get 15$ of oil and half hour and u 85$ in your pocket. (Plus do a gurls oil change on her car and watch her melt).
Not to mention independance in so many ways.Habit is powerfull and custom can Kill.
Niceness FTW.

I knew how to do most of those before I was 18, but let me tell you I'd never waste my time doing any of them unless I'm stranded middle of nowhere. Changing your own oil is unfun and a waste of time and I would know did this myself for over 2 yrs. Now I just pay just lol

Same, I am not saying you should necessarily do all of these all the time. If you make $500 an hour, then your time would be better spent doing whatever you do to make that $500 an hour vs changing oil. That goes back to my money management and financial independence points on the list. But no matter how much you make it's important to at least know how to do all these things so that you do not have to rely on others in an emergency when others can not rescue you or do it for you. It's more about being self reliant, because there may not always be someone there to do things for you. Me personally, I like doing these things, even though I make a lot of money via the buisness I operate.

It's funny cuz I just changed the strainer of my kitchen sink today, I never changed a tire though (never had to), but I watched a tutorial on how to do it in case that chit happens to me.
Don't know how to change oil either... im pretty sure you need to see someone for that to properly dispose of the used oil.
Everything else checks except the 225 squat but I'm getting there
